The CR-V seems as if was born to park, squeezing into laughably tight, strip-mall spots, shoring up perfectly square to curbs, and swiftly maneuvering through one of Los Angeles’ massive ten-story, subterranean parking garages. You’d almost swear this was Honda‘s top priority when conceptualizing the fourth generation.
Story
As I tossed the CR-V keys back to our fleet manager for the last time, I had a small twinge of sadness, knowing the Honda and I were parting ways for good. It felt premature — I wasn’t finished enjoying my time with this right-sized pillar of the compact SUV market. It reminded me of that feeling you get when you have to move out of a good apartment or when your parents relocate for new jobs, ... (more)
Pros
The well-boosted steering rack requires minimal effort to go lock-to-lock when stopped or just barely rolling. Couple that with the wide sightlines out of all the windows, and the CR-V can be tucked into just about any spot you’ll come across with nary a worry about trading paint with the car next to you. Also, the low windowsills and the rearview camera display on the center stack help make parallel parking a cinch and decrease the chance of dragging the rims on the curb. And though some of the CR-V’s competitors, such as the Ford Escape or Kia Sportage, can be had in much more attractive... (more)
Cons
Too loud.

I have really enjoyed my little Honda CRV. We bought it used and were a little leery about how long it would last due to the high mileage, but after one year, it is still going strong. Being a four cylinder, the gas mileage is terrific. The engine is very quiet, and it's a smooth ride, so smooth you can easily get over the speed limit if you're not paying attention to the speedometer. Sometimes we get high winds here, and larger SUVs have a chance of rollovers. In my Honda CRV, you can hardly feel the wind blow.
Story
We took it to go hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. It was just the right size to hold our gear and the best choice for saving money on gas.
Pros
It's pretty roomy for a small SUV. We can get four adults and one baby/toddler in it. It has a moon/sun roof, which is great in the summertime because you can vent it while it's parked and let a lot of heat out. It's very easy on gas. I can drive over 60 miles, and it cost less than $10.
Cons
It needs just a little more room in the cargo space for my taste. I can barely get all my groceries and two coolers in it. I'm not fond of the color. It's black. It heats up a lot in the summertime and shows dirt easily. They had some recalls on the airbags. The problem was fixed, but you never know if it will happen again.

I had no problems. I paid cash so they were happy to deal with me. They also replaced my battery right before my warranty expired when I didn't even know it was low. I have only needed oil changes since then.

The car salesmen were very helpful with making sure I got the closest thing to the vehicle that I wanted. They walked me through the purchasing process and made it exceptionally easy to trade in my older car and purchase my current vehicle. Every time I go to the dealership for servicing of my car, the technicians and helpers make me feel very at home and always openly communicate the wait time and what is going on with my car.
