My vehicle is gray and therefore attractive to me. It seats five (because I bought it used without the second back seat), so I am able to comfortably transport both people and cargo wherever I go. The car has never had any major problems, however there are a few aesthetic issues that the manufacturer should have addressed during the design phase. For example, most plastic parts in the interior (e.g., visor clamps, seat levers) break very easily, and there are two visible cracks that have formed around the brand logo on the hatch. Nevertheless, the vehicle is sturdy, reliable, and is able to meet my needs. Although it is not a perfect vehicle, I would still recommend it to others.
Story
The vehicle has so much interior room that my wife and I used to lay in the back comfortably and watch movies on a laptop. That made for fun, unusual date nights!
Pros
The fuel efficiency is good for where I live, and the vehicle looks good. I have owned it for nearly 10 years and I've not yet had a major problem with it.
Cons
The cracks around the logo (on the hatch) and the breaking plastic bits on the interior make the car less desirable. I also do not like the transmission… but that seems to be a problem with this brand of vehicle, not just this specific model.

The Ford Focus is a no frills middle of the road compact car. Although it has lasted for almost 14 years, I have had had to replace the engine and had to deal with various issues such as the door not opening from the inside. The engine is very very loud and often my friends and I joke about how you can always hear me drive up. With this being said, the car has not needed major repairs (other than the engine) and is still fairly decent on gas. The interior is very much no frills and riding in the backseat would definitely be a bit cramped for a fairly tall person. The cars front window is also made in such a way that I am replacing windshield wipers at a higher rate than what I would deem appropriate. Overall, I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone as I feel that there are plenty ... (more)
Story
I don't have a specific story but I do have a certain attachment to my car. It has been with me since my senior year of high school and I don't want to part with it. Recently when the engine went out and I thought that I may have to replace my car I was legitimately sad even though it is for all intents and purposes a clunker.
Pros
The pros are gas mileage, size is compact without making you feel cramped or confined while in the front seat, low maintenance for the most part, and low repair bills.
Cons
Lots of little repairs needed such as door handles and ignition issues. Very loud engine and rough ride. Engine died before car even reached 145,000 miles! Interior is falling apart, interior light has broken and had to be pushed into the ceiling to not constantly hang out and almost hit me in the head. As previously mentioned lots of little issues, I have to open the driver side door from the outside and the passenger side door will only open from the inside going for repair work involves a rundown to the mechanic on how to exit my vehicle!
