I purchased my 1998 Honda CR-V 2 years ago. The vehicle had 200,000 miles on it when I purchased it. My previous vehicle was a small car so buying a small suv was a very different experience for me. I liked that it had more trunk space. It also had more space for other passengers. The back seats can be laid down flat to create even more trunk space. It has working ac and heat. I like that the car comes with several cupholders. It also comes with a foldable picnic table that I can use for when I go camping. The previous owners had gotten the windows tinted but didn't do the best job because some of the tint is starting to peel. The spare tire that came with it was also flat so it had to be thrown away. The car runs really well for a vehicle with over 200,000 miles on it. Although now th... (more)
Story
Because this vehicle is a small suv I was able to take it out on the beach and drive in the sand which is something I wasn't able to do before with just a car.
Pros
Very reliable, has yet to break down on me. Good gas mileage for a small suv. Has large trunk space
Cons
The car had over 200,000 miles when I purchased it. The passenger side seat does not have an arm rest but the drivers side does. Although it does get good gas mileage it's still not as good as a normal car like a Camry.

I got this car from my dad, who drove it mostly around the neighborhood. I then took it across country from the Midwest to the Pacific coast. I got good gas mileage on the trip and in town, and the car ran and rode smoothly. I enjoy driving it. The rear seats are big and spacious, and the trunk area is nicely size. And when you put the seats down, you have plenty of room to haul things.
Story
We took the CRV shopping and didn't have a problem packing it all in. Sure a little pedestrian, but it's an important thing!
Pros
Good gas mileage, roomy, smooth ride and transmission. I like it.
Cons
The blind spots are a little tricky if you don't always look. There is a split mirror that helps, but the frame is just a little in the way. Still, not that bad.
