I purchased my 1998 Honda CR-V 2 years ago. The vehicle had 200,000 miles on it when I purchased it. My previous vehicle was a small car so buying a small suv was a very different experience for me. I liked that it had more trunk space. It also had more space for other passengers. The back seats can be laid down flat to create even more trunk space. It has working ac and heat. I like that the car comes with several cupholders. It also comes with a foldable picnic table that I can use for when I go camping. The previous owners had gotten the windows tinted but didn't do the best job because some of the tint is starting to peel. The spare tire that came with it was also flat so it had to be thrown away. The car runs really well for a vehicle with over 200,000 miles on it. Although now th... (more)
Story
Because this vehicle is a small suv I was able to take it out on the beach and drive in the sand which is something I wasn't able to do before with just a car.
Pros
Very reliable, has yet to break down on me. Good gas mileage for a small suv. Has large trunk space
Cons
The car had over 200,000 miles when I purchased it. The passenger side seat does not have an arm rest but the drivers side does. Although it does get good gas mileage it's still not as good as a normal car like a Camry.

I've owned this car for two years. Being a car that is almost 15 years old, I still feel it is completely reliable and have had no problems with it. I feel I can always depend on it, and I appreciate its fuel efficiency. Insurance, maintenance and gas costs are low, so those looking for value will find it with this car.
Story
With good tires and chains, driving in the snow wasn't as bad as I expected with this car.
Pros
Fuel efficiency Reliability, dependable Value for your dollar Low cost to fix, easier to self-repair than other vehicles
Cons
No air conditioning, limited extras Styling is basic Manual transmission isn't fun in traffic Interior is less comfortable than more expensive vehicles
