The Beast
I just love this vehicle. I'll be the first to admit that I didn't have any standout pros or standout cons, anybody who buys it, buys it simply because it's a Hummer. It has an iconic look and attitude, and I feel quite strongly that in the future it will have a unique look and body type that will be coveted. I look forward to passing this car on to my son.

Total garbage.
The car is a pile of junk. If you hit a small pothole be prepared to replace the hub, and possibly the c/v joint. Please don't take this vehicle off road as if you need some power to get over an obstacle you will be replacing the driveline c/v joint and possibly the whole driveline. It eats tires like no vehicle I have owned before. Many issues with the traction control coming loose at the rear differential. It uses gas like its a Sherman tank. It is very hard to see out of the windows. They are tiny. the mirrors vibrate when you are driving. The lights in the dash for the buttons come on and go out whenever they feel like it. The seats are uncomfortable after about 5 min. The door unlocks have to be hit 3 times in order to unlock all the doors. The ride is very rough, even after replacing the suspension, and all the body mount bushings to the frame. This car is an absolute train wreck. I would highly encourage anyone (even my worst enemy) to avoid purchasing one of these like the plague.

It rides well in any weather.
Off-road, where gradual and precise throttle response is usually far more important than power, the H3 is just right. On the freeway drive from Phoenix to Los Angeles, we found that the big tires soften steering response noticeably, leading to more corrections against desert gusts than you'd make in a car-based SUV. Wind noise and drivetrain racket are much subdued compared with the crude H2. The jaunts only panic came deep in the Mojave when a glance at the gas gauge revealed exactly E. Twenty minutes before, it had been nearly half-full. Although the outward appearance of the H3 is similar to the swaggering H2s, the mood here is much more sincere.
