My 2000 Hyundai Accent is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. No matter how I drive it, it gets 32 to 34 miles per gallon. Visiting the pump once per month on its 300 mile range is a plus! The 1.5 liter inline 4 is surprisingly responsive. Although it is not the fastest vehicle I have ever driven, I am not afraid to enter the freeway. The vehicle handles like a dream, and in spite of its friendly suspension I can still hold a 95 mile per hour sweeping cloverleaf-arc on-ramp no problem. The steering ratio is well matched to the reactivity of the suspension so it is quite easy to feel "one with the car." For how small the vehicle is, it is surprisingly spacious. The engineers did a fine job making the seats maneuverable so as to let my child in and out of the back with ease. The seats are comfortable, the radio is of surprising quality, and overall it is a very comfortable car. With the fold-down rear seats, I once comfortably rode for 8 hours with a Great Dane! Also, I have no problem trusting the car with my life. I previously owned one of these in fact, and 4 years ago my wife was driving it. She negotiated a left-hand turn into a driveway and was t-boned on the passenger side by a fairly large, heavy vehicle traveling in excess of 40 miles per hour. The car's airbags deployed and it rolled onto the drivers side door. Two things: my wife, with the exception of a couple of bruises, was uninjured and there was minimal intrusion to the passenger compartment. It popped the interior trim panel off and that was it. When I replaced the one broken tie rod the vehicle was actually still drivable in a straight line! I have been a believer ever since and gladly bought a second one.

They provided me a line of credit when no one else would even when I was willing to put down 4 grand on the spot.
