I purchased my Hyundai 2008 Elantra in June 2007. Over the past eight years I have had to do ZERO repairs to the vehicle; outside of normal maintenance (oil, fluids, tires) I have never had to take this vehicle to the shop. The tank holds 13 gallons and I regularly get between 350-400 miles per tank, regardless of the type of driving. I purchased the base trim and still found the interior to be attractive, with a dual color scheme. Factory stereo has been perfectly adequate and vehicle did come with the option of utilizing satellite radio. I am an extremely active person and am pretty brutal to my seats (I run, swim, and bicycle and bring sweat and water into my car a lot); I have been able to easily clean the seats with a standard carpet cleaner.

I have owned this car since purchased new, for 12 years. This car has never left me stranded on the side of the road and protected me and my family twice in two separate minor accidents; once when I was rear ended and a second time when hit in the left side quarter panel over the left rear wheel. The dashboard and steering wheel controls are intuitive and easy to use while driving. We have put over 120k miles on this car and completely trust it to continue going forward.
