2012 Hyundai Tucson - Okay but not outstanding crossover
The car is a small crossover with a 2.4L engine. It is roomier than a sedan but smaller than a mid-sized crossover or SUV. It has a backside hatch that opens upward. The engine is about the same displacement as an average sedan, which helps fuel economy without sacrificing performance too much. The car can turn with a relatively small radius and has the same physical footprint as the Hyundai Elantra (it is taller of course).
Story
I remember driving with my family and taking my pet along. Since the back is so roomy my pet fit well in the back without any problems. My pet enjoyed the ride.
Pros
The car has very good headroom in the back. It generally feels very roomy in the back. The quality of the sound system is very good. Overall, there have been very few problems with the reliability of the engine or most of the working parts.
Cons
The gas mileage is disappointing, achieving less than 30MPG highway in many situations. For a car with a 2.4L engine, one would expect somewhat better MPG. The seat belts are built very cheaply and have a lot of slack, which causes them to get mashed in between the door frame if you are not careful. There are many dings on the inside of the door frames from the seatbelts. The headlights are terrible and it is often difficult to tell if they are turned on. Electronics have some issues (USB doesn't work with modern iPhones, Siri/XM turns radio on occasionally trying to spam you into signing up).
2013 Hyundai Tucson - Solid Small SUV
I currently own a Hyundai Tucson. It's a small SUV and it replaced a Hyundai Santa Fe that I owned previously. I like the interior of the car. It's not leather, but not cloth, and it does clean up nicely. The dashboard is sleek, and I like how it lights up during night driving. Some radio controls are on the steering wheel which is nice. I do feel that the car is somewhat loud on the highway. It does have decent gas mileage, and overall think it was a good value. I've put about 30,000 miles on the car, and have only taken the car in for routine maintenance.
Story
I hauled a six piece sectional sofa from Costco in this car. It took 6 trips, but I managed.
Pros
I love the heated seats in the winter, and those were standard in my model. Bluetooth capability is great too as I make numerous calls from my car for work purposes. This SUV was equipped with Sirius Satellite Radio, which I loved during the 3 month trial, that I received with the purchase of the car.
Cons
There is less trunk space in this SUV compared to my Santa Fe. With only three people in my family, we are packed tight when traveling for leisure or the kids sporting events. The seats aren't the most comfortable I've had. The Santa Fe provided better lumbar support in the front seats.

2012 Hyundai Accent - Ricart Automotive Group Groveport
The dealership was very helpful and had people willing to wait on you. The people there were kind and wiling to listen. They definitely wanted your business and put you first. I was able to get right in and talk with a dealer and start finding the right price. Comprise was not an issue for me and we found a midpoint price level we could all agree on.
2012 Hyundai Accent - Preston Hyundai Boardman
They had really good customer service and seemed to care about the customer a lot. Their finance department was really kind and caring, I enjoyed the experience overall. It was my first car I had ever purchased and they did an excellent job of explaining things. Really good service, specialized departments, and cars! Awesome dealership.
