2009 Kia Sportage was a great SUV for family travel! Not bad gas mileage approx. 25/30 highway. Front pilots seats are comfy enough for longer distances. Back seat is not just a bench comfy w/middle armrest. Pickup speed is very good for a 4 cyl. Driving control is very good. The inside is roomy enough for medium to larger size people. It came with Sirius radio, disc player, good air conditioner and heater!.. Power windows, cruise and tilt steering. In general a good traveling family car. Lots of trunk room, we have carried several suit cases and beach items. Not too expensive to keep up. I like the ease of breaking with this suv, its a nice slow break no jerks or skids. Handles well in winter snow too!

size of the suv was good, the drive ability great! Seats and comfort level for even larger people is good. Abs breaks are a great safety. Trunk size and roof rails make storage very good. Driving response is fun on highway, and good in city miles. Gas mileage could be better. Upgraded technology on front dash and panel would be better.
