I love the feel of my Isuzu Rode as it feel's very sturdy & drives great. With just a push of a button my 4 wheel drive can kick in and I am ready to take it off-road! I have driving my Isuzu Rodeo in ICE & Snow & never had any issues keeping it on the road. The lights are very bright at night & the fog lights come in handy on those foggy nights. The radio system is above average for a factory cd player as the sound is very clear and the bass hits hard. I never had any issues with leaking oil or transmission fluid or any liquids for that matter. The way the back hatch opens is great for either loading heavy items or to just lift a window and put your groceries up. Another thing I noticed is the doors are very light weight and easy to open and close with one hand. The slick design of th... (more)
Story
We used it in our wedding photos! Surrounded by our friends and family! Had a great time and just love our Isuzu Rodeo!
Pros
My favorite features of my Isuzu Rodeo is the Style, Interior & Radio. I have put thousands of miles on my Isuzu Rodeo & it has just kept going and going. I have all the features of a truck & a van with the pleasures and comfort ability of a mid size car! I use my Isuzu Rodeo for both work & pleasure. I can easily shift in to four wheel drive with the click of a button & be able to get through any kind of snow or take it off-road in the field & mud. Everyone loves to go mudding! Also the lift of my Isuzu Rodeo has enough clearance to be able to go off road & also not have a lot of drop whe... (more)
Cons
Honestly I haven't had any major issues with our Isuzu Rodeo. The only thing on the top of my mind I could think of is the Service Recall's. Which we did have some but it was just a slip in the mail that came randomly in the mail explaining the certain Service Recall that needed to be repaired. All we had to do is go to our local Isuzu Rodeo Repair shop and bring the slip & they would do the service call free of charge. Only down fall is the local Repair shop wasn't Isuzu Certified and we had to drive to the larger city to do any and all Service Recall's which was a hassle. The only other ... (more)

The Isuzu Rodeo is one of the best vehicles I have owned. I wish they did not stop producing this fun little SUV. I have put over 200,000 miles on my Rodeo and have had very few problems. Two of my kids learned to drive in my Rodeo. I like the size: it has enough room, but it's not huge. The gas mileage is good, and it is very reliable. The rear seats are easy to fold flat to expand the cargo area. The controls are easy to reach and operate, and it's very comfortable to drive. The one thing I don't care for is the rear hatch opens low instead of lifting up. I have had a few problems with the door hinge. I normally just open the rear glass panel which lifts up.
Story
My daughter went to the corner market one night in the Rodeo. When she returned, she could not find her wallet. I went out to look in the car. I saw the wallet on the roof where she had placed it while getting in -- amazing it did not fall off . We live off of a dirt road.
Pros
Good mileage. Easy to drive. Convenient size. Easy to flatten rear seat. Reliable.
Cons
Rear door opened sideways. My 6'4" son was unable to drive comfortably. No longer being manufactured.
