It's my first vehicle
I had a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo LS 4X4. The 3.2 liter v6 is a little bit underpowered. Love everything about this car. The handling is great. It is dependable, looks great inside out. This car hauls my pets to vet, my groceries every week, my items I buy at yard sales (my hobbies), all my other shopping, oh so easy. There is so much room in the back, and when you let the back seats down, so much more room.

Power, roomy, comfortable but basic.
The one most impressive thing is the engine power. At 200 plus horsepower v6, there is no fear entering highways. The interior is neither undersized or oversized . The shape is somewhat boxy and masculine, which I like. Tires and wheels are sixteen inch. This gives it a truck like appearance. One of the negatives is the interior fabric pattern. It's has a checkered pattern. A solid color would be better. Another negative is how the rear door opens. Instead of opening up or down, it swings to the side after raising the back glass. It is very awkward. The front grill could use a better design.

The Isuzu Rodeo is one of the best vehicles I have owned. I wish they did not stop producing this fun little SUV. I have put over 200,000 miles on my Rodeo and have had very few problems. Two of my kids learned to drive in my Rodeo. I like the size: it has enough room, but it's not huge. The gas mileage is good, and it is very reliable. The rear seats are easy to fold flat to expand the cargo area. The controls are easy to reach and operate, and it's very comfortable to drive. The one thing I don't care for is the rear hatch opens low instead of lifting up. I have had a few problems with the door hinge. I normally just open the rear glass panel which lifts up.
