The Jeep Liberty is a very small SUV. It is perfect for someone who wants a truck but is intimidated by the larger size of some other SUVs on the market. For myself, having two children, it is a bit small. The trunk space is great though and the ability to lay the backseat down to make additional trunk room is a plus. It runs well, for the age of the vehicle and amount of miles on it.
Story
We had a pretty rough winter here in Ohio, lots of level 3 days where only emergency personnel were allowed to drive. This jeep drove right through all of the snow with not a single issue. I spent a lot of time this winter giving rides to friends who were unable to even get their vehicles out of the driveway!
Pros
My favorite features are the heated leather seats and sunroof. The heated seats are great for the winter or even those chilly spring mornings. The fact that it is compact and easy to maneuver is a plus as well.
Cons
The positioning of some of the parts make repairs somewhat difficult. Such as the front drive shaft and the starter. In order to reach the starter the muffler must be removed which makes a simple repair a bit of a hassle.

Jeep was very comfortable. Nice leather interior and heated seats felt good on the back and body on cold winter days in Ohio. Ice, rain, and snow were never a problem to deal with in this Jeep. Gas mileage wasn't the best. But for a slightly bigger than mid-size SUV that the wife felt comfortable to drive, this one was perfect.
Story
Driving through the snow in the winter during blizzard like conditions. It looked cold and crappy outside, but the inside was nice and warm and cozy.
Pros
Great 4x4 driving. One button switch to go from rear wheel to 4 wheel Leather seats are easy to clean Sits up high enough to see around everything with few blind spots Extra features like navigation, superior sound system and Arctic package made it a sharp vehicle to drive no matter the occasion
Cons
Once we had our baby, fitting her, the car seat and our 10 year old in the car seemed to limit space in the back. Trunk space wasn't too large, creating headaches when fitting in a compact stroller and other things for a trip to see family. Engine performance wasn't the greatest. I've seen larger SUV's perform better.
