There are so many things I love about the Honda CRV. The trunk is large enough to hold our huge hockey bags and sticks. I also always carry lawn chairs, blankets and other things I could need at anytime. The car has had very few performance problems, is still quiet with 140,000 miles on it and still looks good on the interior. I wish the backseat had more space because fitting in a rear-facing car seat was a bit of a problem but after getting past that faze in our life, it's now more than enough room.
Story
We have used it several times at the park to picnic. We pack our fishing poles and food in it, get to the park, pull out the table and bring our own chairs and stay for hours! We have so many wonderful family memories with this car.
Pros
My CRV has a table (yes! A fold out table!) in the trunk that we have used everywhere including picnics and tailgating. It also has a plastic-lined bucket for filling with drinks that can be removed after all the ice is melted for easy clean up. My car has a sunroof, which is great when it's beautiful outside! It has extra storage underneath the passenger seat for either hiding valuables or maps. Plenty of storage with a spot for sunglasses, CDs and garage door opener. All-wheel drive. My car is amazing in the snow and doesn't slide or drift in bad weather. Large storage in trunk.
Cons
Lack of cup holders and the cup holders in the console do not hold everything. Air conditioner stopped working two years ago. In order to find out the problem, they have to remove the front fender, and it will cost more than the car is worth at this point. When we have asked around about this, there was a problem with this make/model that year. Narrow area between back seat and front seats.

I like that it's a dependable vehicle. Other than one part of the brake system, it's required very low maintenance. That one issue I mentioned caused the car to make an sound whenever I braked, but it was an easy fix and is the only high-price thing I've had to do to it. It is far from a sports car, but it's very trusty and gets me to where I want to go.
Story
We drove to a state park and popped the trunk, and we barbequed on the grass. We all sat in my trunk and had a great time.
Pros
The top positive things are the fact that it's comfortable and great for road trips. All my friends want to take this car whenever we drive long distance because of the great trunk space. For its size, it gets pretty good gas mileage too. I can put the middle seat down and fit 2 sets of skis inside the car.
Cons
It's not a very sporty car, and it probably doesn't accelerate as fast as I want it too. Essentially, it's missing from "vroom." But for work and for most yearly traveling, it does the job. No one will ever look twice at my car, it doesn't look flashy or like its anything special, but it's not really advertised as such anyway.

My salesman was very helpful and made me feel much less nervous about the purchase of my first new car. He even helped me figure out how to get an amazing deal on the financing through Honda! He made sure to follow up with me personally about a week after purchasing my car to make sure everything was still working out for me, which is a nice touch to the Honda service. I still take my car here for all of my regular maintenance.
