I love my jeep, but they are not for everyone. They will go anywhere in any weather but you will use a lot of gas going there. I have over 140,000 miles on my wrangler and have only had to replace a few parts on it. So far a light bulb socket, throttle position switch, coil pack and starter have gone. The soft top is just about due for replacing. It does ride a little like a tank but some of that is due to the fact that mine has a lift kit and larger then stock tires.
Story
Driving it in a foot of snow up the side of my yard cause a vehicle was stuck in the driveway.
Pros
I love being able to put the top down on a sunny day or use the 4 wheel drive to push through a foot of snow. Wranglers have a coolness factor unlike any other vehicle. I also enjoy being able to pick up a catalog and pick out parts to totally change the look of my Jeep.
Cons
Wranglers have poor gas mileage, mine gets around 15 mpg. You will replace tires and shocks more often then on a small car. Back seat is fairly small, it's not easy to fit a grown adult back there. If you put the soft top down often it will most likely need to be replaced every 5 - 10 years. You can't fit a lot of groceries in the back with out getting creative.

I love Jeep Wranglers. Although, I didn't do the necessary research and later found out the 2007 and 2008 models are not reliable at all. Soft top Wranglers have very high internal noise, even before you put bigger tires on it.
Story
The first weekend I had it, I went to meet my buddy who was home from the air force. Little did I know the trail to Kerr's camp had a huge mud hole that I had to put my brand new vehicle through. Worked like a charm though!
Pros
I love the fact you can make it a convertible in a matter of minutes. There is nothing better than taking the top and doors off and just cruising down a back road. The fact that you can go anywhere and not have to worry, knowing you have four wheel drive is a huge plus. I actually enjoy the fact it has so few electronics, less stuff to repair.
Cons
Not long after purchasing I realized it loses oil at an alarming rate. I've taken it to two separate garages and no one can tell me what's wrong with it. I've also encountered "death wobbles" and had to replace the steering stabilizer. The soft tops are just another part that need replacing sooner than later. The door surrounds are made of plastic and I had the passenger side one snap while trying to take the top off.

They were close to where I live. They had a wide selection of vehicles. They were able to get me financing I could agree with. They have a big service center for warranty and other repairs. I felt better about buying from someone that is close to where I live rather than far away, especially for service needs.
