Generally Pleased
We have owned this vehicle for approximately 11 years and have had few issues with it. Overall the van runs good, gets average gas mileage for a vehicle of its size, and is relatively well built. I would have liked it if the seats would have folded down into the floor instead of having to remove them when I need to haul large items. After approximately 96,000 miles the transmission went out, but the dealer was able to replace it for free since it was still under the 10 year / 100,000 mile warranty. The front brake pads wear unusually fast compared to other vehicles that I have owned. The wear seemed to slow down after we replaced the rotors instead of having the old ones resurfaced. Around year 9 of ownership, the handle for the rear hatch locked up, would not operate any more, and had to be replaced. Also, the emergency brake handle broke and would not be pulled back into place by the spring. This was not that big of an issue since the brake would still function. Now that the vehicle is rounding 110,000 miles, I have noticed a large amount of rust on the underside. Other than these flaws, the vehicle has had no major engine trouble and runs very smooth and quiet.

Solid mini with no bells and whistles.
I basically bought this van because I needed a reliable solid mini van to use for my kids. I wasn't interested in any extras just wanted something reliable. I believe that this base model fits what I was looking for. It has enough seating for 7. My 3 kids fit comfortably in the back. Adults would not have much room. It has second row captains chairs which I prefer over the 3/4 bench. The ride is smooth and noiseless. It has a v6 that handles daily driving needs. It has a six speed automatic transmission. Its EPA rated for 17 mg in the city and 23 on the highway. Which is the same as my old van so I used to that. My van is basic so it has the cloth seats, which is fine because I use seat protectors for the little ones. It has LATCH connectors in the 2 second row captains chairs which I use for my 2 car seats. It has one in the back as well. The base model comes with Bluetooth, which my teenagers love. It also has USB, auxiliary jacks, key less entries, and satellite radio. The second row captain chairs do not fold flat which is such a hassle. I have to remove them overtime I need that extra room. They are heavy and awkward. It also proves to be a pain to get them back in. The third row is much easier, it folds flat. I use my van to haul big pieces of furniture because my van has more storage space than my boyfriend's truck. Plus everything stays protected from the elements. Overall, I am pleased with this van. I wish there were automatic sliding doors though, Next time around that will be on my must have lists.

Reliable and basic
The Kia Sedona is easy to drive. I loved the interior features of it. There were plenty of cup holders. There was sufficient leg room in all seats. I loved there was ample storage compartments. I didn't like that there were not many bells and whistles. There was a back-up noise made when I was in reverse but no camera. I also was limited by how much storage I had underneath individual chairs. It was a challenge to put seats down or take them out when putting large items in the back of the trunk.

They were extremely patient with my indecisiveness and did their best to help me pick out the perfect car for me. Being a college student buying a car for the first time without my parents, they even offered to speak with them and go over all the details. Military discount and recent grad discount.

When we visited this dealership knowing we needed a new vehicle--a larger one for our growing family. The gentlemen who helped us showed us some options that felt right for us that gave us larger vehicle options. Thankfully, we were given the recommendation to get a minivan for our family and after doing some math and working with us, we knew it was the perfect choice for our family. We felt so well taken care of while we were there and we would certainly visit again.

They have a great selections but that is really it. We have bought three cars from them in the last 5 years but this last experience was so horrible that we won't be back.

The service department is fast and helpful. The sales people were not pushy and seemed to truly just want to get you the car that you wanted. They did not try to sell you something that you didn't want.
