The 2006 Kia Sedona has been an exceptional vehicle for us. We've had many vehicles in our 5 plus years of being married. These have included other minivans of various make. We have four kids, so all together there are six of us and we've wanted a vehicle that would fit us all comfortably. Minivans we've had in the past only had the one sliding door on the passenger side and two bench seats, one slightly shorter than the other. These were always a hassle to get in and out of the vehicle. Kids would always be trying to slide by, and once in, they had to sit so close together that there were always arguments and shoving matches. With the Kia Sedona, its been great. There are enough seats and enough space to move in and out efficiently. What also makes it nice is the ability to fold the s... (more)
Story
We often drive up to Payson Arizona where family lives. My father-in-law owns a Chevy truck, and on this particular occasion it was snowing like crazy and semis were jack knifed all over the place. My father-in-law, Larkin, was worried we wouldn't make it to his cabin because there was so much snow. He had us wait for him in Payson and loaded my wife and kids into his truck and I decided to dr... (more)
Pros
Duel sliding doors A/C Fold down seats Good Gas Millage Dependability Easy Maintenance
Cons

The kea Sedona I bought was a sport mini van. I love this van, it has a nice body style and is sleek not like the big bulky ones. When you first loo at this van you would never think it has enough room for everyone but open the doors and take a look it is huge. The color being white I was not so thrilled with but I know I can get that painted. The seats in the van are very nice leather seats makes it really easy to clean. Everything in the van is electric, has room for you to input a TV. For traveling if you would like to and has many safety features as well. The few things I did not like about this van was there are a lot of blind spots and it is kind of hard to make your self get use to how to see around them and the tenting on the van is all so to dark I actually got a warning about... Story
I just bought the car so not at this time but buying the car was fun.
Pros
Has enough room for me and my children plus our pets if we want to take them on a trip. The body style of this van is very sleek not bulky like most vans. Everything in the vehicle is electric. The van has enough room for me to put in a T.V. For traveling if I would like to go on vacation with my children. Nice seats.
Cons
Has many blind spots. The van usually comes in white on the outside and white everything shows up on ,The tent on the windows is really dark.

We have owned this vehicle for approximately 11 years and have had few issues with it. Overall the van runs good, gets average gas mileage for a vehicle of its size, and is relatively well built. I would have liked it if the seats would have folded down into the floor instead of having to remove them when I need to haul large items. After approximately 96,000 miles the transmission went out, but the dealer was able to replace it for free since it was still under the 10 year / 100,000 mile warranty. The front brake pads wear unusually fast compared to other vehicles that I have owned. The wear seemed to slow down after we replaced the rotors instead of having the old ones resurfaced. Around year 9 of ownership, the handle for the rear hatch locked up, would not operate any more, an... (more)
Story
We love taking this vehicle to our local apple orchard to pick apples. The kids open the sliding side doors while we are driving through the orchard. I don't know why, but they get a kick out of it.
Pros
DVD player in the back made long car rides bearable with the kids. Comfortable to drive and ride in. Relatively good gas mileage. The company made good on their warranty.
Cons
Transmission failure. Frequent brake pad replacement. Some minor cosmetic items that broke early on in ownership.
