Great car for life's surprises.
We purchased this van when we found out about our second pregnancy. It has been used to haul groceries, furniture, kids and more. Our second pregnancy came with the unexpected surprise of twins. The seven passenger seating allows for an easy time getting three children in and out the vehicle with ease. I am also disabled, and care for both my disabled parents, grandfather, and my husband and children. This vehicle has been a godsend. I can pack all three kids, and head out to my local warehouse club to buy a months worth of groceries for eight people, and still have room to fit everything in for the ride home. Our Kia has been the most reliable car we have owned. I always swore I was never going to own a minivan, yet I have never regretted my purchase. It's our grocery getter, school transport, family trip maker, and so much more. It has a nice sleek look to it, and can blast the soundtrack from "frozen" loud enough to drown out the off-pitch voices of a 7 year old, 5 year old, and three 2 year olds when I am running carpool.

Not an awful van but not going to wow you either.
First thing to know is that my van was a rental vehicle prior to me purchasing it. Therefore there were quite a few minor interior blemishes, along with some exterior dings. Mechanically speaking though, I would say that the vehicle has actually been very reliable considering its condition. The biggest dislike I had about the vehicle would be that the rear passenger windows did not roll down at all. I also did not like how hard the vehicle was to have worked on. It seemed very difficult for most mechanics to perform simple tasks on this vehicle due to the crammed spaces in the engine compartment.

Confident
I am constantly impressed with its ability to stand up to wear and tear over the years. Even with other damage or minimal care, the engine is in great shape. The body of the car is big, but for someone as tall as myself, it's a great fit. It's comfortable. It's surprisingly easy to maneuver for its size. It's a smooth ride. Has a ton of space for anything I need. Only real issue with it is that all its non-essential feature have broken on me with surprising ease. Just about everything other than the engine is broken in some way with no explanation of how.
