We purchased our Sedona in 2007 it had 60,000 mile on it. Currently it has 211,512 on the odometer. At this time we have not had any engine trouble. We do have wear and tear on the framing. It does not leak any oil. We have had to replace the outside door handle. It does not rattle or make any excess noise when driving. We have had several brake and alignment issues. When going down the mountain the break will start to shimmy due to over heating. We have trouble with not being able to stay in alignment. So we have to replace tires more often that in our other vehicle. I love the room, I love all the extras. Everything is automatic.
Story
We live in rural southwest VA so sometime ours also is used as a truck to hall things around. Also daughter plays in a bluegrass band so we are all the time hauling music equipment as well as having jam session in the back hatch
Pros
At this time we have not had any engine trouble and It does not leak any oil. We do have wear and tear on the framing. We have had to replace the outside door handle. As well as several other cosmetic issues.
Cons
For the year and model of this vehicle, I do not have any Cons. There are several things I would like to have in it that newer vehicles do example would be Bluetooth hands free mode.

2003 Kia Sedona - Not an awful van but not going to wow you either.

First thing to know is that my van was a rental vehicle prior to me purchasing it. Therefore there were quite a few minor interior blemishes, along with some exterior dings. Mechanically speaking though, I would say that the vehicle has actually been very reliable considering its condition. The biggest dislike I had about the vehicle would be that the rear passenger windows did not roll down at all. I also did not like how hard the vehicle was to have worked on. It seemed very difficult for most mechanics to perform simple tasks on this vehicle due to the crammed spaces in the engine compartment.
Story
I would have to say, strangely enough, a very fun time my family and I had in this vehicle was when we were driving home from the park and ran out of gas a long ways from any gas station. Thankfully enough, we live in a friendly town full of orchard owners. While we were sitting there trying to figure out what to do, a man on a tractor began heading our way. He pulled up knowing the situation,... (more)
Pros
I would say that the top positive for me about this vehicle would be the price. There were honestly not many favorite features for me in this vehicle. There were no "extras." It was the basic model without all the frills. I did enjoy the space in the vehicle and how easy it was to remove the seats if you needed to haul anything.
Cons
The vehicle was very hard to work on. It was also very simple -- no bells and whistles that made you enjoy the ride. The rear passenger windows do not roll down. Not the best gas mileage for really not that big of a vehicle.
