The Kia Sedona has been a great vehicle for me and my family. With two kids, it provides a great amount of room for them and any friend that might tag along. The fuel efficiency is good for a minivan type of vehicle. We have had maintenance done on it through the mechanic, however there has never been any real big fix that required a lot of cash. It has just required the normal maintenance that most cars do. In taking it on trips, it is able to get up an maintain an appropriate speed limit on the highway, so it has a lot of power. It's a smooth ride and has many of the features that more luxurious cars have. Story
I have carted so many teenage boys in the car. One Halloween, I was taking a group of about six of them around to trick or treat in various places. They could easily get in and out. It was just fun listening to six, 12-year-old boys and their conversations.
Pros
Lots of room. Has seating for seven comfortably. I feel it is a very smooth ride. Also has a lot of the features that nicer vehicles have (cup storage, backseat air/heat). There is lots of storage. The very back seat easily folds in and out, so you can reconfigure the interior.
Cons
It doesn't seem to have brakes that are a good qualify for the car. We have had to have them replaced a few times. Difficult to get to the spare tire.

I bought my KIA as my last car had just spontaneously died. The KIA dealership was the only one that was nice, courteous and willing to work with me. I have been very happy with the vehicle. I know have over 130,000 miles on it and have had no major issues with it. It doesn't shake or rattle. It is a relatively quite vehicle. It is roomy enough to fit my kids and all their soccer gear. We are a family of 6 and have had plenty of room for luggage when driving on vacation. The only consistent problem are the van door locks. When it gets cold out, the two sliding doors are hard to open. The manufacturer installed radio had quit working after about 5 years. I expected that to last the life of the vehicle.
Story
We were driving on a scenic stretch of road and come upon a baby bear. My daughter and I stopped to watch the bear. He started approaching us, and my little girl couldn't figure out which button to push to close the window. The bear ended up running across the road.
Pros
I really like the cruise control. Use it a lot. It is a comfortable ride. There is plenty of room, especially with the well in the back. This van also handles the road very well. I also like the fact that it came with a luggage rack.
Cons
The locks never worked properly on the two rear doors. When it gets cold out, they do not open. You have to wait until it van warms up a little. The radio also died after about 5 years. I have never had a radio die on me before. Some of the plastic handles did not hold up well as well as some of the arm rests.
