The KIA Optima Hybrid is a car with great gas mileage. It is a comfortable ride and the steering is tight - similar to a sporty racecar. The display on the dashboard shows how economic I am driving - the more flowers on the branches, the better for the car's performance. It makes me feel good to see the benefits right in front of my eyes. The stereo has a good quality and the Bluetooth technology for synching my iPhone is a great asset. The rear camera is helpful when backing into a tight parking space and the electric driver's seat is super convenient.
Story
This car is new to me (I've only had it for four days). I'm looking forward to creating a fun memory or two headed to State College, PA for some football games this fall.
Pros
One of my favorite features is the hybrid engine. I'm thrilled that the gas tank indicator has only gone down to half of a tank and I've driven over 300 miles. I could not have done that in my previous car (KIA Sorento)
Cons
Unfortunately, this car has over 29,000 miles and there's a small issue with the electronics - the dashboard lights get bright and dim on their own. The trunk space is limited and there are no heated seats. This car is not made for four full-sized adults. It's more of a three person car - each with a couple of bags or purses.

Quite pleased with performance of four cylinder engine, ample power to maintain freeway speeds and acceleration.. A little stiff on the suspension, you feel every bump in the road.
Story
Free washing by dealer is nice. And winning wagerers (who do not believe friends!) who discount our forty miles to the gallon fuel. To be fair most of our driving is rural or freeway. Mostly north of Seattle.
Pros
Full sized four door sedan that seats five comfortably.
Cons
Drivers seat to low for five foot ten inch driver. The outside mirrors left me with blind spots until I added a two inch cushion.

2013 Kia Optima Hybrid - Quality ride! Very comfortable. It has great gas mileage, I went to Buffalo, NY and back and still had gas. I love the UVO system!

Absolutely Love this vehicle, the style the comfort and overall driving experience is amazing. This is my 2nd optima and I love this one even more l dislike the fact that I have had a few minor recalls on certain parts.
Story
I always race on an abandoned road with my brother who have the same type vehicle.
Pros
Overall cabin materials. Roomy interior. Inside and out, the Optima's design is modern, sleek and refined, particularly for a family sedan... and particularly for one in this price range. It simply gets stares as it drives by. And those who haven't been keeping up with the 'car world' who get a closer look at the cabin just can't believe it's a Kia.
Cons
Interior design has large, blank spaces. Interior materials disappoint in a few instances. Tight Headroom: SX ride quality and road noise.
