The KIA Optima Hybrid is a car with great gas mileage. It is a comfortable ride and the steering is tight - similar to a sporty racecar. The display on the dashboard shows how economic I am driving - the more flowers on the branches, the better for the car's performance. It makes me feel good to see the benefits right in front of my eyes. The stereo has a good quality and the Bluetooth technology for synching my iPhone is a great asset. The rear camera is helpful when backing into a tight parking space and the electric driver's seat is super convenient.
Story
This car is new to me (I've only had it for four days). I'm looking forward to creating a fun memory or two headed to State College, PA for some football games this fall.
Pros
One of my favorite features is the hybrid engine. I'm thrilled that the gas tank indicator has only gone down to half of a tank and I've driven over 300 miles. I could not have done that in my previous car (KIA Sorento)
Cons
Unfortunately, this car has over 29,000 miles and there's a small issue with the electronics - the dashboard lights get bright and dim on their own. The trunk space is limited and there are no heated seats. This car is not made for four full-sized adults. It's more of a three person car - each with a couple of bags or purses.

Quite pleased with performance of four cylinder engine, ample power to maintain freeway speeds and acceleration.. A little stiff on the suspension, you feel every bump in the road.
Story
Free washing by dealer is nice. And winning wagerers (who do not believe friends!) who discount our forty miles to the gallon fuel. To be fair most of our driving is rural or freeway. Mostly north of Seattle.
Pros
Full sized four door sedan that seats five comfortably.
Cons
Drivers seat to low for five foot ten inch driver. The outside mirrors left me with blind spots until I added a two inch cushion.

Before going and looking at my car I had the perception that Kias were cheap and not very reliable. But after looking up the safety ratings and test driving my car I instantly fell in love, and my friends call it the spaceship car. It was reasonably priced and has a body style similar to a Lexus. My car is white with a full black top that has the sun and moon roof so it looks pretty sporty. My kids love how comfortable of a ride it is and all of the little extras the car came with, including heated seats in the back. I get ridiculous gas mileage and when the car is running on battery instead of the engine it is so queit that people do not think my car is even on. Overall I am very happy with the car and would buy a Kia again.
Story
My mom went to borrow my car one morning while I was still sleeping, and she had to come wake me up because she couldn't figure out how to start it with the key-less entry.
Pros
I love the gas mileage because I commute around 100 miles a day. It is very comfortable and has a lot of nice features like heated/cooled seats, navigation, and a sunroof. Everything in the car is good material so it does not appear cheap, and it is a very quiet ride. It drives well and does well in both the rain and snow.
Cons
There were only a few things that I do not like about my car. The trunk space is taken up a lot with the design and battery so I'm not able to put my son's bike in the trunk. I got in a wreck going just a few miles an hour and my car pretty much fell apart - there was $7k in damage. Now that my kids are getting bigger there is not a lot of space for them or additional things.
