I used to own a 2007 beetle and bought this one recently and I absolutely love it! I get about 26 mpg city and 29 mpg hwy. The look is modern and sporty. (I have a racing stripe). I don't like the head rest in the backseat because it's taken up by the roof so it's a bit more cramped in the backseat than I'd like and than my older beetle. I love however the leather and Bluetooth and sunroof that I have. The trunk space is small, but as a previous beetle owner, I'm used to that and don't see much difference than a Jeep which I used to own as well. The brakes and acceleration are excellent and it has a really good overall safety rating. I drive around in it with my five year old and feel very safe driving my Beetle. So far, I have not had any problems that it needed to be service, but my ... (more)
Story
I love riding around with my son and my dog in the mountains with the sunroof down. It's a fun car. My son and I still play the slug bug game!
Pros
The Look. Modern design and sporty look. Sunroof Leather seats Bluetooth touchscreen Navigation
Cons
Space. Very small space including trunk space, backseat, and backseat head rest.

I love my kea riot. It looks sporty and has great color options. It is loaded with technology that other auto makers lack. With UVO and a touchscreen display, as well as Bluetooth and auxiliary audio, it is a tech lovers dream. The interior has nice carbon fiber look finishes and is very sporty. 173 Horsepower on the EX model makes the car peppy and fun to drive. I would recommend this car to anyone.
Story
I was parking at a local market and a group of people waling buy looked the car up and down and gave me a thumbs up. This car is a looker.
Pros
Great horsepower, plenty of leg room for driver and even for the passengers riding in the back seat, The UVO media system is great for phone calls, all different types of audio from streaming Bluetooth to MP3 and CD. The trunk is very spacious and my model included a nifty cargo net that makes loading groceries a breeze. The rear view backup camera along with the power folding side mirrors make this thing incredible for parking even in crowded areas.
Cons
I wish the interior fabric was a little bit better. Have to pay for premium package to receive 17" alloy wheels. Visibility is a little poor due to the A pillars being very long.

I bought the car in 2010 brand new and have only put about 45,000 miles on it so far. The price was good at around $18,000 with a sunroof. I haven't had any major issues with the car besides regular maintenance needs done.
Story
Was on a road trip to a couple of states and it had no issues with it. The seats were comfortable throughout the trip.
Pros
I really like the color as it is a unique blue color. It is reliable and at the time I bought it not, too expensive for a new car. At the time I got this it had a ten year warranty on most items of the car. The car is a V8, so it does have some good speed to it. I like that the back seat can be folded down, and it does quite a big trunk.
Cons
The front of the vehicle is too low to the ground, as if there is more than three inches of snow it is easy for the car to get stuck. I can't usually get the Bluetooth to sync with my phone. It used to not work most of the time, but now it won't synchronize at all. I think the technology in the car is outdated to what we have now on our phones.
