I bought my 2013 Kia Forte to replace a fifteen-year-old Saturn wagon with 226k miles. I wanted another economical, compact car that would last a long time and go the distance. With a long commute and three kids, all that is very important to me. On a recommendation from several friends, I looked at the Forte and have loved it the two years we've had it.

Light and Sporty!
I bought this vehicle after having a Honda Accord for many years. The Kia is lighter, handles better, and gets far better mileage! I bought this several months ago after a close friend purchased the Forte coupe, and I'm still excited about it! I find myself taking better care of this car, just because it's such a joy to drive (special soap, leather chamois, the works!)

I love this vehicle!
The Kia Forte is one of the best cars I have ever driven. Previously I owned a used Forte and drove it nearly 10,000 miles before trading it in for a brand new one. I never had any mechanical issues with the used one, and I haven't had mechanical issues with the new one, either, which leads me to believe that Kia knows how to put together a vehicle. The rest of my review will be about my new Kia. The style of the vehicle is beautiful. It's sleek and sophisticated with just a touch of sportiness that makes it look more expensive than it is. The features offered (UVO, back up camera, heated side mirrors, alloy wheels, etc.) are all exceptional for the price point. Unfortunately the Forte doesn't come with a blind spot camera. I have taken multiple road trips in my Forte and I haven't ever been uncomfortable. The seats do stain pretty easily, though, even if you just spill water. The car is spacious and the seats are very nice. The back seat is especially nice. I have a large breed dog who actively hates car rides but in the back seat of the Forte she has room to lay down and sleep. In my pre-Forte days, I'd have to collapse the seats to give her a flat surface to lay on but not anymore! The climate control is also very dependable. Fuel economy in the city isn't the best, I'll be the first to admit, at 20-25 MPG but on the highway it averages 30-35 MPG which is fantastic, especially on road trips. I can typically do about 900 miles for $60 in gas. I have noticed though that the paint on the Forte is pretty thin so I'm worried that in a few years I may have rust spots peaking through, but over all it's a solid vehicle.
The Kia Forte is all-new for 2019 and sports a grown-up new look, excellent safety tech, and long list of standard features that rival much more expensive cars.
