My favorite thing about the Forte is how smooth it handles. The test drive was what sold me! It accelerates and brakes like no other. I also love how the car feels nice and roomy on the inside, but it's actually pretty small when you drive it, and I have had no issues parallel parking or taking tight turns, which was something I dreaded in the past with my previous car.
Story
My favorite memory in this car was when my boyfriend and I took a road trip to Las Vegas! It was a 22-hour drive, and it was so comforting to know we were in a car that would be able to handle that long drive without any issues!
Pros
I loved my 2013 Kia Forte the second I got inside. There's plenty of room for myself and my entire family. It also felt so classy with all the settings and red lights that light up the dashboard. The Bluetooth phone option was so cool, and I was the first one in my family to have such a "high tech" cool car! The way the Forte drives and handles is definitely the main reason why I love this car though!
Cons
I would have to say the most negative thing about this vehicle was the gas mileage. The only reason I feel this way was because my previous car got about five miles per gallon more. When I traded my old car in for this Kia Forte, I was surprised that the gas mileage wasn't equal to or better since it was much newer than my last. However, it still has great gas mileage overall.

I love the gas mileage. As someone who had only driven SUVs and trucks before this car, it was a great surprise. I tend to get upwards of 34 MPG on the highway and around 30 MPG in the city. For a four-cylinder sedan, it has decent acceleration, and it is easy to handle. The car itself sits pretty low, but I have always had decent sight lines. The interior is roomier than you'd think. I have been able to easily fit five people in the car. I and my friends are all over 6' tall, and we are all either large or muscular people. A major drawback, though, would be the craftsmanship of the front and back bumper guards. Both are rubber and easily come off, and I have had to routinely reattach them. However, no other part of the rest of the car has broken or come loose.
Story
This car actually handles decently in east TN snows (1-6 inches at most). I was able to whip this car up the steep hill to my apartment in a decent sized snowstorm while various cars and FWD SUVs were stuck at the bottom.
Pros
I love the gas mileage, roomier than expected, solid handling, and very few mechanical issues of any sort.
Cons
Front and rear bumper guards come loose easily and stock floormat had a hole worn in it in about a year. If you are taller than 6' and sit straight, the rear view mirror may not be able to angle correctly for you.
