Nothing but problems
The Kia Rondo I own has been nothing but problems for quite some time now. Everything from the air conditioning, transmission, and more have needed to be repaired. All conveniently right after the 100,000 mile warranty ended might I add. The interior had many nice features but after 140,000 many things have started to break. The durability of the car is just not there. It was an excellent first car for me as a 16 year old. Decent enough gas mileage and plenty of room for all my friends made this a great car for a while. However after replacing my spark plugs, O2 sensors twice, fuel injectors twice, transmission, air conditioner, and more all in the time between 100,000 and 140,000 miles the appeal of the car is long gone. It does have a good stereo system with a 6 cd changer however it lacks the ability to connect to cell phone or iPods which is almost a necessity in today's world. My favorite part of this vehicle was all the cup holders and extra little compartments which made this car great. Now a lot of the handles into the compartments are broken so they are no longer accessible which is frustrating. The worst thing was having to replace a head light. It cost me almost $100 because the entire front light casing needed to be removed just to change a bulb which seems like just another ploy to get you wasting your money at the dealer if you asked me.

My Kia Rondo is a gem.
I purchased my 2007 Kia Rondo new, after wrecking another car. Frankly, I chose the Kia because it was one of the cheapest replacement cars I could find. I didn't not expect much, but it has been the best car I've ever owned. The car interior is well constructed and comfortable. I have driven cross country in it and have found the seats to be very comfortable and supportive for long periods of sitting. The seats have held up very well despite lots of use. The interior has many thoughtful design features including roomy center console storage, and even a small hook for holding a trash bag. The Kia Rondo is a smallish SUV, seven seater. The rear seats fold down to create a surprisingly large cargo space. I had been reading about tiny campers and decided to try my Rondo out as a camper. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to sleep in the back comfortably, with plenty of room to store my gear. Mechanically, my Kia Rondo has been outstanding. The car has required very little maintenance in the ten years that I have owned it. It handles well on the road, has plenty of pickup for passing, and is easy to drive. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. The little Kia Rondo is a gem of a car. I highly recommend it.

I'm happy I chose this as my first SUV.
The car handles beautifully. It rides very comfortably and has no rattles. The vehicle responds quickly and smoothly. The horn is not placed so that it can be accidentally hit. The car is easy to park. The car is high enough to have an easy line of sight. However, the car is not too high to get in and out of. I like the extra compartments of storage in the back. I also like being able to lay the back seat down to extend the flat storage.
