awesome
I love the kea rondo for several reasons. 1) no mechanical defects 2) smooth ride 3) roomy 4) crossover but big interior I really have no complaint's except some electrical problems. Not very noisy. Maintenance is easy. Great vehicle control. Brakes are excellent. Have almost 100,000 miles on it and still runs great. Gas saver especially on hwy miles. great trunk space in the hatch.

Safe and reliable.
Kia Rondo is a great vehicle. Plenty of room for adults or children. Lots of storage that is fully covered. Drives like a car but has the storage capacity of a mini van or a small SUV. Has a very high safety rating and if maintained regularly will last a very long time. This car has been driven all over the mainland us as well as the island of Hawaii. Has been shipped and driven in all kinds of climates and is still as good as it was when we bought it.

Nothing but problems
The Kia Rondo I own has been nothing but problems for quite some time now. Everything from the air conditioning, transmission, and more have needed to be repaired. All conveniently right after the 100,000 mile warranty ended might I add. The interior had many nice features but after 140,000 many things have started to break. The durability of the car is just not there. It was an excellent first car for me as a 16 year old. Decent enough gas mileage and plenty of room for all my friends made this a great car for a while. However after replacing my spark plugs, O2 sensors twice, fuel injectors twice, transmission, air conditioner, and more all in the time between 100,000 and 140,000 miles the appeal of the car is long gone. It does have a good stereo system with a 6 cd changer however it lacks the ability to connect to cell phone or iPods which is almost a necessity in today's world. My favorite part of this vehicle was all the cup holders and extra little compartments which made this car great. Now a lot of the handles into the compartments are broken so they are no longer accessible which is frustrating. The worst thing was having to replace a head light. It cost me almost $100 because the entire front light casing needed to be removed just to change a bulb which seems like just another ploy to get you wasting your money at the dealer if you asked me.
