Good Little Car
After leasing a Kia Soul for the previous 3 years, I was ready to downsize back to a regular sedan. The Forte was the cheapest option so I test drove it and when with it. There is really only one thing I dislike about this vehicle. It's the first one I've ever had that doesn't come standard with cruise control. Had I known that before leasing it, I probably would have leased something else. The agent was showing me the car and said "and this is where all your cruise control buttons are," so being that it's 2015, I just thought nothing of it. The good news, there is an ECO setting which keeps my gas mileage right around 35-40mpg, (although it would be more if I had cruise control.) The tank is on the smaller side, so it costs less to fill up (currently between $20-$25,) and lasts me about 2-3 weeks. With any lease or purchase of Kia vehicles, it comes with a 3 month trial of SiriusXM radio which is pretty cool. I had that in my Soul though, so it wasn't a factor in choosing the Forte. One not so important downside is that there is a lack of color choices for basic trims. I chose grey because at least it wasn't black or white like my previous 3 cars. My goal for my next car is to be able to have a real color (blue hopefully,) but it's still the same car, right? So overall 4/5 stars based on the fact that it was insinuated that it came with cruise control but sadly it does not.

The Wonderful Kia
This car is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It has a superior look and design to it. It is sleek and fast. It is safe for my whole family, including my ten month old daughter. One of the main selling points was that it was a very safe car. It also has a superior radio/cd/mp3 system inside. You can preset 10+ radio stations (fm and am), and choose which preset you want from the steering wheel. There is an ability to connect your phone wirelessly to the car, so that if someone calls you while you are driving you can simply press a button on the steering wheel to answer and there is a speaker above your head where their voice comes. It even has a backup camera! The seats are very comfortable, and the air control system works great. The trunk is big enough to fit a jogging stroller, a playpen, a guitar, diaper bag, and a laptop! One thing I did not like about it is that the back of the car is obviously made for the backup camera. The back seats are high, and so you cannot see very well out the back window when backing up. If something were to go wrong with the backup camera it would be a little difficult to back up.
