My vehicle has been able to handle driving over 100,000 miles without breaking down. I have driven it across a variety of settings (e.g., mountains, dirt roads, the city) and weather conditions (e.g., summer heat, heavy rain, snow). It being a manual has allowed me to control the speed and gas usage of the vehicle. I drive it every day to and from work/internship and school. The small size of the car makes it easy to fix into compact parking spaces, which is especially helpful because it allows me to park in any spot in a parking garage.

I have had my 2010 Kia Soul for 8 years now. I have regularly changed the oil, timing belt, tires and breaks. Knock on wood, I've never had a major engine problem. The gas mileage is decent, though as technology advances it has become mid-grade in terms of miles to the gallon. The interior is really spacious. Surprisingly, my boyfriend at 6'7" can drive it comfortably and was super surprised at what I can fit in my Kia while we were moving. I did originally have lo pro tires but traded them in for regular ones due to how many times they were popping. What I really enjoy about this car is the stock sound system. My speakers light up to the beat of the music and the bass really kicks for such a small car. It was easy to attach a sub system. The only thing I don't like about my car is that over time the shocks don't absorb much of the pot holes or bumps in the road so I do feel all of them. Also, if I don't have the music on you can feel everything. Overall, this car has been good to me and I use it as a commuter car to and from work. I would recommend this car to any new driver or a small family as it is has a lot of room, good gas mileage and room for upgrades.
