2011 Kia Soul - Best tiny car for commutes, sound, and will be a car that lasts long enough to teach my kids to drive on.
I like that the vehicle is compact, quick to get up to speed, and does pretty well on gas (average about 30-32 mpg). I do not like that it has a higher tip risk and there have been times going around a roundabout (that are slowly growing in popularity across the country) that I have felt that I would tip, even when going slower than the speed limit.
Story
There are a number of roundabouts around my area and not very many people have smaller cars (large trucks are popular), and there is a particularly tight roundabout near a shopping plaza that is ALWAYS speedy to get through for me because only smaller/compact cars could easily get through, everyone else has to use the larger roundabout that always has a huge slowdown.
Pros
I love the speakers, the bass has never let me down. I like that the car is pretty compact, but not low to the ground. As a not-to-tall woman I like that I can sit taller than I can in a low car, but I'm not in a big truck.
Cons
The car feels like it will tip pretty easily, and the back hatch (no separate trunk) does not go up very high, so I have to duck my head to essentially crawl inside the back to get things out.
