The interior is spacious. My large dog has plenty of travel room and can move back and forth between windows. It is very gas efficient for long road trips making for very few stops to fill up gas. It is perfect with one child seat in the back. Not so great with two children seats if the driver is tall. It is very easy to wash and vacuum on my own. A maintenance issues was the air conditioner going out, but this was after owning for a few years in the Texas heat. The back seats can also lay down if large items need to be moved. Plus, the vehicle is great for packing in several boxes. The seats are comfortable for long trips, and there is room to stretch out if a passenger needs to take a quick nap.

I love how boxy the Kia Soul is and how wide and open the windshield is. I feel like I can see more of what is going on around me than in any other car I've driven. I've moved across the country and then again across the state in this car, and I'm amazed at how much I can fit in it due to the shape and the seats that lay flat. I love the hatchback, which I can get into easily, and I can hide all of my clutter or groceries and still feel like I have a spotless car. The seats are easy to clean. I also spend quite a lot of time carting around furniture from estate sales, and again, I've been amazed at what I can fit in my Kia.
