2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport - The family disco
I purchased the "Disco," short for LR Discovery Sport in 2016, shortly before our second child arrived. This is a great SUV for families with 4+ members. The 6th and 7th seats have come in handy on multiple occasions when transporting extra personnel on short trips. It's a great vehicle for long trips as well. Tons of cargo space makes it excellent for packing strollers, bags, gear, equipment, food, and presents. I also use this vehicle for business mileage as well, so it's an absolute workhorse. The turbo-charged four-cylinder diesel can hardly tell the difference between having just me in the car or being fully loaded with seven people and minimal gear. Story
School-aged children on multiple occasions would ask me to roll the window down to compliment the Disco when I would pick my daughter up from school.
Pros
Back-up camera. Heated seats. Pano roof. Trailer hitch. Sixth and seventh seats.
Cons
I once mis-fueled the vehicle (diesel) with a couple liters of unleaded gasoline. Not really a big deal because the mis-fuel warning tag physical barrier popped up in the gas cap. Resetting the warning tag is pretty straight forward, but the reset device included with the vehicle and located in the rear cargo is made of plastic and broke off in the fuel spigot.
2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport - Land Rover Discovery Sport
I am enjoying the Land Rover Discovery Sport.
Story
I can drive it through any weather scenario and have no second thoughts about it.
Pros
Versatile and enjoyable ride. Not a big SUV but right in the middle. It is the perfect size for us. Visibility takes a little bit to get used to; the rear hatch window is a little lower than I would like. Has good power and decent gas mileage. I am still a new to the Land Rover ownership, and so far, I am enjoying it.
Cons
Visibility.
