Mazda CX-5 Owner Ratings & Reviews

2016 Mazda CX-5 - Stylish and great for work.
Great midsize car with very good gas millage. When designing the CX-5 they were concerned about the little details. From the way the seats fold down to the cargo area cover it all works very well. If you want to haul stuff and still haul passengers in style this vehicle is the answer.
Story
Driving over St Helena Mountain with this vehicle is a real treat. All the turns where taken with ease.
Pros
The vehicle is very good on gas and still has the power to get over the mountains. This is a true sports utility vehicle. Haul the kids or haul the animal feed. It is easy to configure and does it well. The shutter for the cargo area is fixed to the door so it automatically opens when the hatch is opened. A single lever will lower the back seats. You don't have to remove anything. Of course all the automatic features makes this a real 21st century vehicle. From backing assist and collision warnings it takes the worry out of driving. With push button start and keyless entry the v... (more)
Cons
The vehicle is expensive and full of so many features. This is a utility vehicle and does not have to be so complicated.
2016 Mazda CX-5 - Zoom Zoom
Interested in a crossover vehicle that feels more like a sports car than a truck? This is not your mom's minivan. It can hold all your camping gear and look good at the same time. When you're off to the mountains for the weekend, it handles the curves and inclines. When you're stuck in stop and go traffic, the great sound system and comfortable seats make it tolerable. The Mazda CX5 Sport AWD is reliable and has great traction in wet road conditions. Fun to drive and priced affordably. Gets great mileage, so don't let the small gas tank size deter you. The back seat is roomy enough to hold your friends for a road trip. And with the quiet cabin, you won't miss any of the conversation.
Story
After driving an old clunker for years, I surprised my passenger when I felt confident to pass another car on a country road. It felt great!
Pros
The default setting is eco mode, which is great for environmentally conscientious drivers. But when you want a little extra pickup, you can switch it into sport mode. You can enable Bluetooth on your phone to play music and navigation apps through the car speakers.
Cons
There are definite blind spots.
