This is my first SUV that I had purchased because I had a child on the way. For a family of three, this SUV has more than enough room. I was able to fit an infant car seat in the back and have enough room for groceries, a stroller (small one), diaper bag, and other personal items. The driver and passenger have more than enough space both in the front and in the back. The ride itself is really smooth. For the first six to seven months, every time I drove the car, it felt and sounded like I was on an airplane. The windshield is very wide and I feel like I am able to clearly see everything on the road perfectly and I'm only 4 feet 11! My shortness does not hinder me at all when I am driving. I feel very comfortable in the seats. I have driven it on long drives and I don't feel uncomfortable at all. My legs don't feel cramped, and my hands feel like they fit perfectly on the steering wheel as it is a wheel that is amazingly adjustable.

When I was first looking into purchasing a new SUV I looked at a lot of different options, I did my research and test drove the top ones (CRV, Rogue, etc...) The CX-5 was the last one I test drove, after I drove it I fell in love with it, I was not planning on buying anything yet but it was so amazing I decided to go on with it the same day. I love the way the car handles. The MMI is overly complicated and just OK. The back seat could be a bit roomier but is not terrible by any means. The cargo area doesn't seem as roomy as I would have hoped. Curb weight at around 4400 lbs is excessive. Backup camera peeps when in Reverse if there is something in front of the car (so not helpful). Too many clicks to do simple things like change the radio station or climate control. I drove all trim levels and the base model with the automatic does perfectly well. I even replaced the terrible Kumho tires with Bridgestone Driveguard's because there is no spare. Inside the Dart is very comfy, stereo is great, HVAC controls are nice and easy, Engine Power is from the 2.0 Is good and the transmission shifts perfect.
