I really enjoyed my Mazda 3. I bought the vehicle as a graduation gift to myself when I was 18. The car was black while a light sparkle to the paint. The windows were already tinted, which was great because it helped keep it cool during the summer. The dashboard was easy to work with and never had a fault. The seats were comfortable and took a lot of wear and tear over the years, and still look fantastic. The sound system that came with the car was amazing and had great bass (for those who enjoy that). I loved the size of the windows. Cars nowadays have very small windows that can block your view, but these windows were larger and open and had very minimal blind spots. Size of the car is small, compared to most, but the four doors offered lots of accessibility. I did have to push back ... (more)
Story
I have used my car as an Uber vehicle multiple times around the city, which has taken me to so many new places around the city of Oklahoma City. One such place was a car safari through a zoological park, it kept up with the rest of the vehicles but still offered good protection against the wildlife and weather.
Pros
My favorite feature was the sound system that came with the car. It has incredible, crisp sound and multiple abilities, like controlling the bass/treble.
Cons
The car has had multiple problems with it over the years. For example, the A/C has stopped working multiple times. I have had to replace the filter, compressor, and freon too many times to count. I have also had many issues with the transmission sensor. The car will automatically switch into 3rd gear while I am driving on the highway (65 mph) and stay in that gear until I come to a complete stop again. Very annoying!

2012 Mazda Mazda3 - Great car for a great price.

In 2012 I purchased a brand new 6-speed Mazda 3 iTouring edition and it has been one of the best purchases of my life so far. The car was very affordable for all the amenities it has such as Bluetooth connectivity and a decent stock radio system with mp3 capabilities. The gas mileage was another major factor and it continues to amaze me even four years later. When I first test drove the car the engine was so quiet I actually thought I had killed it somehow and at 60,000 miles I have yet to have any mechanical mishaps. The only thing I’ve had to change is the oil and the tires. And the interior has held up like a champ; even after being subjected to little kids and animals the interior still looks amazing. As far as storage space goes, the trunk is a fairly decent size and if you have n... (more)
Story
This car has quite a bit of "get up and go", the first time I let my dad drive it he did not realize this fact and wound up having quite the experience at a stop light.
Pros
Great gas mileage Bluetooth connectivity Quiet engine
Cons
Takes a specialized tool to change the oil Not as much room as I imagined in the back seat
