2001 Honda Civic -- Amazing Vehicle
We purchased this car new in 2001, after owning a 1987 Honda Accord (purchased new) previously. We sold our 1987 Honda Accord (with over 200,000 miles on it) to the neighbor for a very nice price--because Honda's retain their value, even allowing for the high mileage! The Civic is smaller than the Accord, but really comfortable, and very economical to drive. We average over 30mpg freeway and 28mpg around town. There's over 150,000 miles on our Civic and we travel long distances in it without worrying about it breaking down and leaving us stranded. The back seat lays down and this almost doubles the space in the trunk. We make sure it has regular maintenance performed on it, using the guide in the owner's manual, and we've never had a breakdown. It uses no oil and has never had any leaks. All around, the Honda Civic is a great car to own. The exterior paint, interior carpet and upholstery have all held up very well in comparison to other vehicles we've owned. The only slightly negative thing about this model of Honda is the radio antenna is wired through the rear window so reception isn't that great in open country. The air conditioning has always worked great and the defrost clears a foggy windshield in seconds. Our next vehicle will be a Honda Pilot. It's definitely a car to keep buy a Honda again.

Love this car
I purchased this car because I was looking for a mid-sized vehicle with enough room for my family but wasn't too expensive to purchase or run. I'm very happy with my choice. The car looks much more expensive than it was. I love the styling and its slightly "mean" face. It's comfortable to ride in and handles well.
