I worked hard in a restaurant for two years to buy my first car. I looked at a lot of options, and at the time, was pretty naive about cars. I bought this car for 9,000 dollars with 78k on the dash. Over the last four years, I have put over 80k miles on it, having no issues with it besides basic maintenance which I have done myself. It's a reliable car, which has never broken down on me or made me feel unsafe. Even being almost 11 years old, it has a lot of pep in its step, and my friends and family often mistake it for a car that's no more than five years old. Some issues with it have arise recently, with wonky airbag lights, as well as check brake lights. In the winter time, its overpowered engine makes driving in the snow difficult, but if you take it slow and careful, you will neve... (more)
Story
I hit a raccoon going down Route 99 on my way to a first date, which put my car in the shop for two weeks because of the damage. I had to put 1,000 dollars worth of repairs into the car.
Pros
Styling. CVT. Gas mileage. Low weight. Roomy. Sound system (stock). Fast. Sunroof.
Cons
Winter driving. Low to the ground. CVT experiences issues at high miles, hard to maintain. Oil filter hard to reach.

I love the sleek body of the Altima. It has clean lines and beautiful chrome accents. The inside is spacious. My step-son is almost 6 foot tall and fits comfortably in the backseat. The engine is boss; it really has a lot of power and can accelerate very quickly.
Story
I don't have any I really hate driving it.
Pros
It is great on gas. I probably get around 35 miles per gallon. It is powerful. The seats are so comfortable. Even on long drives to Maine (5 hours) my husband and I feel great: No stiff legs or stiff back.
Cons
I hate the steering on this car. Brand new off the lot it favored one side and it is hard to drive because of that. It turned me off of the car altogether. I feel like I'm all over the road. Also under the drivers seat there is a poorly placed plastic shield so when you put your left leg back (under the seat) it gets cut by the plastic on the front of the seat. I just think that is poorly designed. I also think this car is overpriced for the features you receive.

The associate that help me was very friendly. Didn't advert to cheap tactics or selling me useless things. When negotiating wasn't to resistant and listened well. Also he was quick to offer help as soon as I pulled up. Also I'm a sucker for snacks and coffee.
