This car has given me ZERO problems so far (80k miles.) Besides the CD player, which broke, but that is a very minor issue if you ask me. It looks great. It also has a surprising large amount of trunk space. I feel like more people should buy Toyotas especially for how cheap repairs, tires, and other service issues are for them. I can fit my kids in this car with little issues.
Story
My fun/memorable story is that I used to have to ride the bus! Then I graduated to a terrible old Jetta, and now I am in this car, (which may not be fancy to some) but it feels like luxury to me. I am thanking God every day for it. It reliably takes me to the job I have that I enjoy and appreciate very much.
Pros
Reliability is really the most obvious thing here. Toyota is one of those car companies that you can depend on. Also, you get a lot of bang for your buck.
Cons
It is only two wheel drive. I live in new England so that is kind of a big deal when considering snow and ice traction. Also, when I get an oil change it is a bit more expensive than my other car because the manufacturer recommends that I use at least partial synthetic oil. The only real issue I've had is that the CD player broke which is a pain, but I mainly use the auxiliary input jack to listen to music anyway. Could be a bit more sporty looking maybe, I mean the competitors are making some pretty good looking cars these days (Taurus, optima.) I also hate the fact that you need the lug ... (more)

This car is a very solid car. I have owned it now for three years and have had nothing go wrong. I keep up with regular maintenance and that is all it has asked of me. The interior is basic. There is nothing too fancy, but good quality. I have not had any rips or tears on the interior. I have two children, so the interior has taken a beating. They have dropped and spilled everything you can imagine on the seats and it all has washed clean without difficulty. There are no stains and the material still looks new. The outside trim is good also. No rust and the car is almost ten years old. The body seems solid. I have had a few bumps and dings, but you cannot notice anything on the trim. The car drives smooth. The engine is quiet with no overly loud noises from anywhere.
Story
Me and my family drive up to New Hampshire once a year. This car provides us a safe and reliable drive. This allows us to enjoy our long trip without worry.
Pros
I really like the durability of the car. It requires very little maintenance other than the usual. The inside interior is plain, but is easily washable and the fabric stays new looking.
Cons
The car does not come with many bells and whistles. I do wish there were some more special things about it. The CD player broke almost immediately after I bought the car.
