I absolutely love my 2003 Nissan Maxima GLE. It has nearly 100,000 miles on it and has yet to show any signs of slowing down. I suspect this car can easily hit over 200,000 miles before it dies. So my car, despite being 15 years old, is only halfway through its serviceable life.
Story
I took the car on a road trip to Montreal. As a front-wheel drive car, it handled very well.
Pros
The greatest luxury of this car is the heated steering wheel part of the GLE trim. In the winter, nothing is nicer than a hot steering wheel. A small yet indispensable feature I can no longer live without. I also love the VQ35 engine. It is an absolute powerhouse, providing 255 brake horse power. The Maxima is a sleeper that can cook. The 2.5L displacement provides plenty of juice, so the car is very fast to accelerate and handles like a race car. The Nissan Maxima earned its old nickname "the four-door sports car" for a reason, and it really shines at speed.
Cons
I am annoyed I've had to replace the brake calipers more than once. They begin to seize and grind against the rotors.

The interior is amazing quality leather, which feels great to the touch. The car handles well, and has a lot of torque for smooth acceleration, when you need it. There is plenty of trunk space, too, for the young and adventurous or a small family. The car has many useful safety features like a rear camera when backing up. This makes parallel parking a breeze! Finally, I love the way the curves of the car look aesthetically from the outside. It's sleek and cool!
Story
I used this car to pick up my girlfriend to take her on the date where I would ask her to marry me. I was very nervous, but excited.
Pros
Heated and air conditioned seating for the driver. Dual climates for the driver and front passenger. Bluetooth can connect to your phone for hands free calls and can be used to play music via a music player app on your phone. Dual sunroofs make it fun to drive when it is nice and sunny out. You can feel the breeze of the open road. Rear sunshield can be used to block the sun on hot days.
Cons
The car is older and has more than 80,000 miles on it. It makes creaking sounds when taking turns too tight.

The overall process of finding a car, inspecting it, testing it, financing, and driving off the lot was very streamlined and straightforward. Most brand dealerships I would spend hours trying to get the best deal, at carmax my credit was ran right in front of me and I could see all the options I had for financing. From there I was able to choose what I thought the best terms were and shortly after I was driving home in my new (used) car.

I walked in and was immediately greeted by a super friendly face. I dealt with the same person from start to finish. They have an amazing online catalog that lets you know exactly what's available at the different sites. It only took me 4 hours to look at, test drive, and buy the car I wanted.
