The car has awful blind spots when making turns. The positioning of the seats, side mirrors and window frame make for giant blind spots when turning or even changing lanes. The headlights are weak. I've tried every bulb possible, and everyone that rides with me asks if my lights are on. I am a PI, and the fact that I cant turn my exterior lights completely off without turning the car off makes for difficult times. The interior dash and radio lights can be turned completely off while driving down the road, but when I'm in park and not moving, I cannot turn the dash lights completely off. That makes no sense. And it's not flex fuel. It's 'pure drive' written in the flex fuel symbol, so if you get ethanol, get ready for your check engine light to come on and have very sluggish performance.
Story
I ran out of gas, and a lady at her home near me offered her husband's gas can from their garage so we could fill it up on our way to the gas station. Well, it was diesel instead of gas. Made it about 1 mile. Had to get towed and replace the spark plugs. Lesson learned.
Pros
The gas mileage is decent. But then again it is a 4 cylinder, so it's extra slow. The storage in the rear comes with what I like to refer to as shelving. It has 2 moveable shelfs that can be positioned in many different ways to accommodate whatever you may be hauling around. The reverse camera is on par. It has guiding lines that are so well calibrated you can reverse through any obstacles.
Cons
The lighting overall is awful. From barely there headlights to bright and intrusive interior lights prepare to be blinded. The fuse box under the hood is in a very difficult and inconvenient spot. You have to remove the air filter housing to get to the fuse box. It may be fuel efficient, but it is not flex fuel -- leaving you paying top dollar at the pumps. Very difficult to see during daylight and night.

My car is great for my lifestyle. I am active and outdoorsy, so I love that it is big enough that I can fit things in the fold-down back seats. I also was able to put a trailer hitch on the back of my vehicle, which I used to move a U-Haul trailer from Kentucky all the way to Florida without a problem. Living in a big city now. I also love that the car is not so large that it is hard to parallel park. Plus the back-up camera is very helpful in parking! To date, I have not had a single problem with the car. I really like that when I'm driving, I can see how fuel efficient I'm being. I also like that my car has the ability to have customization things (i.e. finding cute seat covers and a steering wheel cover was super easy.) I love the way the car looks all together; it looks like a you... (more)
Story
I'm a researcher and I was collecting data in my car, stopping every two miles in the country. My car was super comfortable and was able to get me out of muddy stops we had to make!
Pros
I would have to say that my favorite things about my car are the practicality in being able to adapt to my lifestyle activities and the back-up camera is a great feature, as it helps me parallel park. I love that the car is common enough that it's easy to find cheap seat covers and customizable things.
Cons
I really don't like the usb plug-in. It doesn't charge the phone well enough, and it short fuses my charger cables. Also, sometimes it's hard to clean because the crevices are so tight.

We had a really great salesman. Normally car salesmen are fairly repulsive, but this man was older and not full of it. He talked to us about practical things, tried to help us with the right fit for a car. We returned several times to the dealership to test drive cars and then we returned a few times to drive the car we eventually bought. He was very patient and didn't push us into anything. I appreciated that most of all. The majority of sales guys seem to think you want to decide on a car in the first five minutes and if you don't you're not worth their time!

Experience with salesperson was pleasant, they listened to what I was looking for and did not try to push too many upgrades on me. I felt comfortable working with the salesperson and the other employees at the dealer. I was able to negotiate to a reasonable price! Everything was clean and professional as well. I didn't need to wait around too long either. Overall, a great experience.
