Got this vehicle 5 years ago after having to keep putting money into my older car I owned. Wanted something affordable and dependable. This car has been decent to me but about 2 years ago the catalytic converter went bad and I needed to replace it. This cost me over 1000 dollars, I was very upset at the time but since then the car has not needed anything. Good gas mileage and filling up the tank does not cost that much. The car is decent in snow for being a smaller car. Overall the car has been decent for the money.
Story
A few months ago we drove this car about 3 hours down the road and got lost even with GPS. We ended up passing a farm with a sign that said puppies for sale. We decided to go look and ended up bringing a brother and sister home. Very interesting driving with 2 puppies in the car.
Pros
Rides smoothly and looks nice and sporty. Car is not too big but has enough room for a family of 4. The dashboard is nice as it tells me things like my oil life and tire pressure. The car has great gas mileage and it a comfortable car to drive on long trips.
Cons
The parking shield underneath the car had fallen down several times. I needed to replace the catalytic converter after only having the car for 2 years, very expensive repair. There is a squeak underneath car that no mechanic can figure out. Trunk is very small.

I have been extremely satisfied with my Pontiac G6. It has a very good suspension system and offers a smooth ride for such a small car. I love how the back seat fold down allowing the trunk and the back seat to combine and make an excellent space for cargo. I believe the length is around five feet which is incredible for this size car. I also like having the four doors which makes it easier to access the back seat. The audio system is really great as are the other features like the power windows, A/C, CD player, and cruise control. This car has been very reliable and has not cost me much in repairs over the years. There is only one thing that has been a problem for me with this car. I helped my daughter with her dog walking business and had four dogs of various sizes driving them to a park, and I thought how funny it must have looked to someone driving by me with all those dogs in my little car.

The salesperson, Bobby, was very friendly and forthcoming about the vehicle I wanted to purchase. After test driving the car and giving me all the specifics, she did everything in her power to get me the car. I was young and had a good credit score but it was not long established. She offered me top trade in value for my 1998 Jeep Wrangler, which helped with my down payment to get me the car. She also got me a great low interest loan from GMC Bank. After buying the car, they filled up my gas tank and offered me free oil changes for life.

We purchased a Pontiac Torrent from this dealership about 4 years ago. Brad was the salesman that we worked with and he was great. He was very friendly and helpful; and I didn't feel like he pushed us into make a decision. The finance manager also was very helpful and helped us get a good rate at the time. We also receive cards from the dealership at Christmas and the anniversary of our purchase which I think is great. Overall they were very easy to work with and the follow up with the dealers warranty was great as well.
