My vehicle runs okay but is just old. I'm sure if this car was bought when it first came out, it was a great car. Now, it is just rusty and a lot of things are falling apart. Some windows don't work, the gas gauge doesn't work, and the air/heat doesn't work either. It runs pretty well though, and is still chugging along at 200,000 miles. It is reliable and doesn't have an ugly look to it. Although it is so old, it still doesn't look bad.
Story
I got a flat tire while using this car, and I had my grandma, who couldn't walk, in the car, so I drove it two miles with a flat tire, knowing good and well I would bend the rim. My grandma had told me she had "bad luck" and I laughed it off. Well, about 30 minutes later, I got into a small crash in the parking lot. I have never had any type of accident before this. She really must be bad luck... (more)
Pros
The look of it, and the fact that it has lasted so long.
Cons
The age of it, and the fact that Pontiac isn't as well of a known brand anymore. The fact that is rusting/aging and has a bunch of small things wrong with it since it's so old.

I really enjoy driving around in my 2005 Grand Am GT1. It offers a smooth ride and is actually pretty quick, even with 113,000 miles on it. It doesn't cost much to drive this car; from its gas mileage to buying replacement parts, it's cost efficient. Although it is a thrifty ride to own, it was built with quality that you can even feel when shutting the doors.
Story
One time I wanted to see how fast my car would go, so I held the gas pedal down until it wouldn't go any faster. It topped out at 120 MPH.
Pros
The 3.4L 175hp engine gives this car enough pep to pass all of the slow drivers on the road! The design is sporty, equipped with a sunroof, fog lights, and a spoiler. For a compact car, it is also roomy, allowing sufficient leg room for both front and back passengers simultaneously.
Cons
Although there is enough leg room, the vehicle is short, making it a tight fit for anybody taller than average height. I'm 5' 10" and fit fine, but if I were any taller, I might say otherwise. The stock radio is pretty basic, although it can be swapped out for an aftermarket one. There is also no dipstick for checking/adding transmission fluid, making the task a tedious one. Also, the fuel tank is small, so even though the fuel economy is good, I have to frequently stop for gas.

I had a great experience buying a used car here. The staff was very friendly. They seemed to give me a great price. The car has operated beautifully for 10 years. It was an overall great experience.
