Reliability and ruggedness.
My 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.i Premium has been the most valuable purchase I have ever made. It's 4 cylinder, 2.5 liter boxer engine has been through hell and back with me and has never left me stranded or stalled. The car has been on and off road in different states and different terrains and has yet to show me a barrier I couldn't cross. It's reliability has surpassed any vehicle I have owned from Swedish to Korean cars. At 90,000 miles I have only replaced 2 belts, regular oil changes, a few bulbs and fuses, and my brake system. Even when I go to a dealership to get it checked out they are surprised of the minimum maintenance it has had.

Swiss Army knife of cars
This vehicle can literally do anything you want it to do. It is a two-door coupe the last year Subaru made a two-door AWD vehicle. The chassis is rally proven and has won many WRC and rally championships. Perhaps the most sought after Subaru model. For the time era, the USDM market received an under powered four-liter boxer engine, however, it has become quite popular to perform an engine swap. And quite possibly the best bang for the buck is the EJ257 motor found in the STi parts are readily available. Since it has AWD, you can take the Impreza in any kind of weather—if you have the appropriate tire for the application (i.e. snow tires if you will be in the snow). The handling is perhaps the greatest function of the vehicle. The light weight of the chassis is another brilliant aspect of this model. Too bad Subaru no longer produces cars of this caliber or perhaps it is the limiting regulations created by the Obama administration that has limited cars to mundane family commuter as seen in today's WRX and STi models.

The service department is very responsive to the needs of its customers. The sales department staff are very helpful and look to help you make an informed decision, free of high pressure sales techniques. Courtesy vehicles are available and the break room is an excellent place to use their wireless connection while you wait.

It was not so great. We felt rushed and were only allowed to drive and explore one vehicle.
