The comfort of this vehicle is amazing. From the push button start to the shifting of gears its as if the car does everything for you. It is quiet and smooth and if you don't look down and the speedometer you wouldn't realize just how fast you are going. The gas mileage is average but it IS a six cylinder engine with all wheel drive. In the gas saving mode, taking off from a light is a little slow but after that the speeds get there quick. I never feel unsure of what the car is going to do no matter how hard I push it.
Story
My very first test drive with the salesmen, I sent him into the side window by throwing the car in to a turn with a good bit of speed.
Pros
6 cylinder torque. Manual shifting mode for an automatic with paddles. All wheel drive Electronic stability control Power everything Three different throttle input modes. One for better gas mileage, one for sporty driving and one for "give it all she's got".
Cons
Some of the interior trim could be of higher quality Changing spark plugs is as easy to perform as a triple bypass surgery blindfolded. Paint quality is that of a third grader with finger paint. It does not have a lot of clearance at stock height Steering responsiveness is slow due to weight Gas mileage.

The Subaru Legacy is for the down to earth, logical buyer. It is the most dependable cars I have owned. As long as you keep up with your maintenance you will not run into any problems with it mechanically. It is all wheel drive, and you can push it to the limit. Not only does it handle great but the gas mileage on it is terrific. I n ever had to worry about breaking the bank to fill up. It rides smoothly through rough terrain, and handles great in the snow. It is perfect for somebody who enjoys the outdoors and needs to go through snow, or run around in the mountains. The only problem that I have ran into is the fact that when you have to purchase tires it is a little more expensive than you average car. Since it is all wheel drive, you have to purchase all new tires any time you have... (more)
Story
While driving up to Lake Tahoe, it started to snow really bad. We were on our way up a huge hill and it was hilarious watching us tote by all of the luxury cars.
Pros
How it handles Plenty of room to fit anything you need. Gas mileage Dependable
Cons
Style Tires

The staff was friendly and got our family a car at a reasonable price. I typically hate the car buying process because car salespeople are typically pushy and overbearing. However, at this dealer they were nice and laid back. Everything seemed straight forward. I have been to other dealers where they try to charge you fees for outrageous stuff. But, not at this dealer.

Went there for a Forester, drove away in one that night. The staff have always been courteous since I have bought the vehicle. They can facilitate repairs on location which comes as a huge benefit. I love my Subie and the crew at Bob Baker have always been a great help whenever questions arise. So far everything's been great.
