The Subaru Outback is a great car for just about anyone. We have twin toddlers and a dog we take everywhere. It is the perfect car for my family of four and our 4 legged friend. It has a smooth ride, handles well and is great in the winter. The gas mileage is pretty good. On average it gets about 24 miles to the gallon. The car has spacious leg room in both the front and the back, and is comfortable on long trips. The heat, air conditioning and heated seats all work really well and are reliable. The level hatchback is great for all types of things. Whether I am loading groceries, transporting the dog, or even changing a diaper in the middle of nowhere the hatchback makes all of them easy as can be.
Story
We took the car to the beach and drove it on the sand right up to the ocean. Works great in all types of conditions
Pros
The car handles great. It is attractive and has a lot of room.
Cons
The interior of the car is attractive, but does have one drawback. The seats stain very easily. Even water will stain the interior. The only way to remove the stains is to have the car professionally detailed. There is a flaw in the rear window that allows rain water in during heavy storms.

2011 Subaru Outback - Super reliable AWD car.

The Subaru Outback 2011 is a terrific car for any family. The trunk is spacious, I've never ran out of space. The car handles superbly on the snow and is very reliable. It is a pleasure to get into it for any occasion and is particularly comfortable on the highway. The mileage is a bit disappointing, in the low 30 MPG on highway, and it goes down quickly in city driving. Of course the major asset of this car is its AWD system which makes it perfect for anybody living in the Snowbelt. I live in the North East and went through a few blizzard in it and always feels super safe. Yes, the car is a bit noisy, yes the interior is a bit bland, yes it is not cheap to maintain and some work can be pricey and requires to go to the dealer (changing plugs for instance.) Nonetheless, our car is now i... (more)
Story
I remember going on 91 in a blizzard. Many SUV got stuck, not my Subaru! So, very happy about it.
Pros
AWD system which is a blast in the snow. The car is super reliable and spacious. It is also anonymous and unpretentious.
Cons
Car can be noisy on the highway and mileage is so-so (30 on highway, drops considerably in cold weather and in the city).

Nothing in particular. They had a salesman who wasn't too pushy. They offered a good interest rate on the dealership loan.

Very easy going sales approach-the rep who greeted us was relaxed, listened to what we said, and let us drive the car in a variety of areas. They gave us all the information we would need on the first visit, and followed up with a call. they did not hound us with call, but made sure we knew how to be in touch with them.
