I love this car. I bought it off of my sister used at 80,000 miles. I have done a great deal of driving and have already added 25,000 miles, and this car has proven to be durable and reliable. I use it for driving in all terrains, in the mountains and driving around the city. When I have the snow tires on, this four-wheel drive car handles very well in the ice and snow. The interior is comfortable, and the front seats are heated. It is wired up for satellite radio, which I take full advantage of.
Story
One day I carpooled half the kids in the neighborhood around to go get ice cream. It made me the most popular mom on the block.
Pros
This car has excellent gas mileage and comfortable roomy interior. The car has excellent handling. I also like the look/style. It is fashionable looking. There really are not many things to complain about. This car has all the features of an SUV, the four-wheel drive, spaciousness in the form of a standard car. This is a great car to have for people who like doing outdoor activities. They also usually last for well over 200,000 miles. I drove this car back and forth half way across the state almost every weekend for the first year over mountain terrain. It handled beautifully, and I actual... (more)
Cons
I had to replace the head gasket shortly after buying the car. I later learned that after 80,000 miles this is a very common repair to have to make. It was quite expensive. I would have taken this into account in the purchasing price had I known. It can be a little expensive to maintain as well.

2013 Subaru Outback - My outstanding Outback.

My Outback has been a great car for me. I've owned it for almost four years now, and I highly recommend it to anyone who will listen to me. With the AWD, I have never gotten stuck in snow, ice, mud, or sand. It's comfortable to ride in, and I have taken it on several long journeys. It gets decent gas mileage, I'm sure it's over 25 mpg. It has plenty of storage - we pack it to the ceiling with camping gear. The Outback comfortably seats five adults with plenty of room in the back for gear. If we ever need room for more gear we can use the built in roof rack to haul stuff, or bolt a Thule storage pod up there. Best of all, the Outback has the feeling of being a tank - very solid on smooth payment or off road. Maintenance has been reasonable - with nothing but oil changes and tire rotatio... (more)
Story
My wife and I went camping in this car the first weekend we got it - but without a tent. It was cozy, but it's not a camper, and it was very difficult getting in and out to go to the restroom in the middle of the night. There was a lot of kicking and punching that night.
Pros
Sturdy, sure-footed, cargo capacity.
Cons
Road noise - you don't want to try listening to classical music in this car. Slightly underpowered - I got the four cylinder, which is fine for regular driving, but not good for towing.

2016 Subaru Outback - Best all-around car.

I own a 2016 3.6R Subaru Outback. It is considered a crossover vehicle. I have been a big fan of Subaru's for a long time, and this is my seventh.
Story
Over the winter, I was able to tow a dozen or so cars out of the snow that were stuck. It felt good to help everyone.
Pros
The are several very big pros in my opinion that led me to purchase this car. If you are an active person, you can do anything with this car. I hunt, fish and ski (sometimes all in the same day), and my Outback has more than enough room for all my toys. In addition to space, with the ground clearance and Subaru's AWD, there is very little terrain that this car can't traverse. While I do enjoy the things that this car is capable of, I really love its value and what you get for your money. With the limited package, I have nicer leather seats than my dad's BMW and an incredible sound sys... (more)
Cons
I would probably say I wish I got a little better gas mileage.

Their customer service is second to none. I never felt pressured, and they made sure I was making an informed decision. Since I have purchased my car, I have received birthday cards in the mail. I am a customer for life!

We actually did not like this dealership at all. The sales representatives were great, but the service center was poor.
