I bought this car used after 1 previous owner at a certified dealership and it has been wonderful. My favorite aspects of the car are that it feels solid and safe. It handles inclement weather conditions like heavy rain and snow very well. I am always confident that I am protected in this vehicle. It is spacious, I do not feel cramped in the front and it holds 2 car seats easily, plus groceries/luggage/backpacks etc. Mechanically it has help up well, at 110,00 miles I have only had to do routine maintenance. It has decent gas mileage, it could be better but the dash shows me what I average and I am able to adjust my driving to accommodate. The oil cap on the underside is a bit difficult to access for oil changes but overall not a huge problem. It has a huge trunk, and the back seats f... (more)
Story
Every summer I bring my car to a drive up beach camping location. It has been wonderful to use for these trips because I can use the trunk as a prep area and I can use the trunk outlets to inflate air mattresses and charge lanterns. Its great for road trips and camping trips!
Pros
Safe, rugged, gas efficient, comfortable. Also has heated seats and lots of usb ports for travelling.
Cons
Not a whole lot of cons for me. The oil cap being difficult to access is my main complaint.

I really like the luxury of this car's interior, its power, and its dependability. The interior includes so many options I haven't had in other vehicles. It is equipped with heated leather seats, electric windows, window heaters, and plenty of cargo space. The rear hatch opens to a large space with a compartment under the carpet with smaller compartments to store tools and emergency supplies. The car's power surprised me since the first day I owned it. When stepping on the gas, the car has great response and acceleration. It has had no problem climbing hills or keeping up with the speed of traffic on the highway. The dependability of this car also gained my respect. It has never failed me, and has been easy to maintain. With a few simple oil changes, hose and belt replacemen... (more)
Story
This vehicle has been fun to drive when other drivers don't expect to be beat off the line at a traffic light.
Pros
Positive things about the Subaru Outback Legacy, again, is it's interior, power, and overall dependability. The interior came equipped with a variety of extra features. Both the driver and the passenger have separated heated seats controls. The rear compartment has plenty of organized storage space, included a tray for storing tools and an emergency kit where the spare tire would typically go. The car's power was a pleasant surprise. It accelerated very well from a complete stop. It handles uphill as well as it does flat roads, and keeps a good speed on the highway. When I need to a... (more)
Cons
This vehicle has faced a variety of issues that I would consider to counter the good qualities. The alarm system is known for having issues, including seemingly random activation. The result in the inability of the driver to start the engine while the alarm is sounding. No matter the correct combination of inserting the key into the driver's side door in in the ignition, the alarm will only be stopped by holding a reset button below the dash. Another fault with this car is the heater core. The heaters are well-known to be faulty with old age, as the heater core that came from the fact... (more)

It was the only dealership that had a manual transmission Outback with options in stock. Accepted Subaru VIP pricing without any hassle.
