I bought this Subaru Forester brand new off the lot a year and half ago and have yet to discover a single thing about it that I do not love. The quality of the ride is exceptional. Acceleration is smooth, and with the PZEV Engine you never feel the slightest jolt switching gears. It's a smooth ride from smart to finish. The fuel efficiency of this car is something else I have been very happy with. My average is around 33 mpg. With an even mix of City and Highway miles, for a small SUV, that's impressive. The interior is comfortable, with plenty of head and foot room and zero engine noise in the passenger compartment. The seats are comfortable and the lumbar support in the driver's seat is great for long trips. There is plenty of room in the backseat for a large car seat and two people,... (more)
Story
We live in SE North Carolina in an area that tends to flood (quite a bit and fairly often) and this vehicle makes it possible to make it safely home when the rain starts and other vehicles might be slipping and sliding. I always feel safe when I'm driving my Subaru.
Pros
Huge Sunroof. PZEV Engine is better for the environment, more fuel efficient, less noisy and gives an extra smooth ride. The rear seats recline for better comfort and room on long trips, and fold partially or totally for carrying larger items without losing all of your backseat seating. Visibility is great out of the front and back, I have very little 'blind spot' anywhere while driving.
Cons
The only negative I have discovered about this vehicle is that it will not charge anything (phones, etc.) unless the engine is running. This probably helps the battery, but it is annoying when you want it to work.

We bought this vehicle in preparation for our first child being born, because of the safety ratings and the fact that Subarus are known to stand the test of time. We definitely feel that this car lives up to the Subaru reputation. I know this will be our primary family car for the next decade. We enjoyed camping often before our daughter was born, and we like that even with a child's car seat installed in the back seat there is more than adequate trunk room for our tent and various camping equipment. Our daughter will be 20 months this spring, and we plan on taking her and our Subaru on our first family camping trip.
Story
I have run into at least three different people who are also Subaru drivers who wanted to start up a conversation just about how great Subarus are and how much we all love driving our Subarus. I feel like I'm a member of an elite club of smart car buyers.
Pros
I enjoy the Bluetooth connectivity for my Android phone, both for the purpose of playing music and also using my phone's navigator to find those out-of-the-way camping sites. We appreciate the inclusion of the LATCH system for the car seat, it really secures it well, which gives me peace of mind when driving with my daughter. The extra information on the secondary display panel really helps me keep track of things like our MPG usage. And the moon roof is amazing.
Cons
Honestly, just cosmetic little things, like the display only has five color themes to choose from, smartphone app integration is a little clunky, and Gracenote track tags/album IDs don't seem to update, so any modern music doesn't get album art or track tags, nothing too serious. And those are all things they could fix with a system update during scheduled maintenance, if they wanted to.

This dealership has very friendly staff; I not once felt uncomfortable or pressured to buy anything. The deal I got on my car was really great, there is no way I could find my model of car cheaper anywhere else, especially after all of the research that I had done. They have many cars available for purchase, and all are very clean and they provide carfax's and more honest information about the car's history. The business owner was very understanding to my specific financial situation and also stayed after hours to help close the deal. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone in the area looking for a car.

This dealership has many vehicles to chose from and all were in excellent condition. The owner of this establishment was friendly and I could tell that he was not trying to scam me. He was more than helpful as well, he had no problem with me taking this car to my own mechanic more than 20 minutes away to be inspected for any issues.
