I like that my Jeep sits high. It runs well. The engine seems to be really strong. It unfortunately needs a few things done, some of which seem reasonable due to mileage and age, some not. The A/C could be better, but it functions decently.
Story
Long line of cars waiting to make a U-turn and after five cars, I was the first to be able to make the turn without backing up.
Pros
Sits high. Cargo room. Good in snow. Easy handling. Excellent turning radius. Back seat large enough to be comfortable for passengers. Four-wheel drive.
Cons
A/C works too hard to cool the vehicle down. Back window defrost and wipers seem cheap. Weird wear out of bushing on rack and pinion steering. Carpets hold odors easily. Sounds rough when running A/C at full, which is often necessary.

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty. It is not fancy, but has the options that I need. The Jeep has about 95,000 miles on it now. I love that the Jeep sits up high and it is easy for me to see everything around me. I drive the Jeep when I go shopping with my daughters, go to the NASCAR race, or somewhere I am not sure about the parking situation. Since the Jeep has tall ground clearance, I do not worry.
Story
This is the vehicle that I drive when my daughters and I go Christmas shopping each year. We drive all over ( usually about 100 miles). The trips last all day and into the evening. we pile the back full of purchases. I never worry about the reliability of the Jeep because it has been great so far.
Pros
The Jeep Liberty has great reliability. We have not had any problems with it. It sits up high off the ground which helps for seeing things and ground clearance.
Cons
The Jeep Liberty does not have a lot of room for luggage so it can make taking a trip a little worrisome. But the biggest negative thing I can think of about my Jeep is the gas mileage. It only gets about 17 miles per gallon.
