My wife and I have really enjoyed the 2013 Ford Escape. We originally bought it after her old base model Toyota Yaris met its end from hitting a deer at about 70 miles an hour. Since my wife had never had a nice car, we splurged and got the Titanium model of Escape. And it has been a great car. The amenities that come along with that package are awesome and worth every penny. The engine is way faster than I would have expected. It has a turbo. It has been a very reliable car. They only thing we have ever had to do to it is add gas and oil and one set of tires. We bought it in 2015, and it is still a daily driver.
Story
I've used this thing to do everything. I even used it to haul about 20 2x6s that were twelve-feet long!
Pros
This is a great family car. That is at home on just a daily work commute or a trip to visit distant relatives. Decent gas mileage - averaging around 24 mpg. Easy on tires, brakes and other consumables. Nothing major has broken on it. It has dual zone heating and cooling. Heated seats and remote start. We have been very happy with car.
Cons
It is a bit cramped for long trips (eight hours to visit the parents) when we have an infant and a big dog. A couple of plastic interior pieces broke off that covered the rear seat mounts. Replacing head light or tail light bulbs takes an act of congress.

I love my Ford Escape! As a young person, I thought my options were limited as to what kind of vehicle I could get financed. No problems with that at all at my local Ford dealership. I bought my Escape used with 81,000 miles. That is okay because it runs great, looks great and has great quality. I have had absolutely no problems with my Escape. It performs wonderfully. Even used, there are no issues with quality. There are no rattles, no noises, nothing negative at all. I needed a reliable vehicle to drive back and forth to school, and that is exactly what I got with my Escape. There is lots of interior room which is a huge plus for me. A lot of vehicles have very limited leg room for back seat passengers, but not my Escape. Even someone very tall with long legs can easily be comfortab... (more)
Story
I live in the South. We do not get much snow around here at all, but when we do, the whole town is paralyzed. I don't have to worry about that. Slap the Escape in four wheel drive and away I go.
Pros
Love the roominess of the interior of my Escape. Love that it is roomy without being a huge vehicle that is hard to get in and out of parking spaces. Love the style and look of the vehicle. Love that it is reliable, even used. This reliability shows good quality.
Cons
I do not have even one negative thing to say about my Escape. I love, love, love my Ford.
