Pretty good little car for commuting
I have a 2016 Ford Focus SE. I got it used from a large national used car dealership. At the time I bought it, I was so frustrated with my old car that I bought it off the lot without even test driving it. The car gets almost 40 miles to a gallon, and I drive about 100 miles a day so that is important to me. It's not uncomfortable but also not a luxury car. I have had no mechanical issues over the past 60,000 miles (it's currently at 87,000). And the tires that were on it when I bought it lasted to 80,000 miles. Its very practical, which is exactly why I bought it.

The good old Ford Focus. Where to start? This is my 2nd 2003 Ford Focus that I have come to posses and they're tanks. They will last forever, are easy to fix and have plenty of room to feel comfy and a decent deep trunk size. The most common problem with
What I like about this vehicle is that it is easy to do fixes on, it has plenty of space, good on gas and it is average looking. The bad part is that it is far from fast and sometimes you will feel embarrassed to look in your rare view mirror when going onto a highway or up a hill. Surprisingly the speakers are pretty good too! It's a very basic and simple car and it literally does the job. If you want to learn how to repair cars, this will be a good car to start with. Repairs are easy, but still expensive as always. However, the junkyard is always a great option since many old Fords lay to rest there. I think the 2003 Ford Focus is one of the last series of the Focus that has come to have the name of being reliable as the newer ones seem to have lost that reputation. The problems that have occurred in the time that I owned 2 Ford Focuses 2003 were mostly the trunk that wouldn't close and open remotely and the coolant tank. For some reason the coolant tank in the Ford usually goes bad pretty quick, luckily they're a easy fix and I would advise to fix them right away as you would pay the same price for a new tank then for a new bottle of coolant. The Ford Focus 2003 is a good reliable car, if you can get one with low-mileage for a good price I don't see a reason why to buy any other car.
