The Hyundai Elantra is a great purchase for new and old car buyers alike. The Hyundai ten year one hundred thousand mile warranty is a bold statement to back. Not only is the reliability amazing but the fuel economy is also fantastic but does not compromise power to an unacceptable extent. The Elantra in the Limited trim is very comfortable and has many great features such as blue link that gives wireless monthly diagnostics for a small annual fee. The back up camera is an amazing feature I hope to see on every vehicle soon. The back up camera is a giant safety feature for buyers with young family members or children. The aesthetic of the car is one of the best entry level designs, the car will fit in with cars to come with its current futuristic looks. The only thing I wish the car wo... (more)
Story
I just flat out enjoy cruising down the highways in the Raleigh area.
Pros
The blue link is an amazing service that blows on star out of the water.
Cons
The vehicle is a little low for my taste.

I purchased my Hyundai 2008 Elantra in June 2007. Over the past eight years I have had to do ZERO repairs to the vehicle; outside of normal maintenance (oil, fluids, tires) I have never had to take this vehicle to the shop. The tank holds 13 gallons and I regularly get between 350-400 miles per tank, regardless of the type of driving. I purchased the base trim and still found the interior to be attractive, with a dual color scheme. Factory stereo has been perfectly adequate and vehicle did come with the option of utilizing satellite radio. I am an extremely active person and am pretty brutal to my seats (I run, swim, and bicycle and bring sweat and water into my car a lot); I have been able to easily clean the seats with a standard carpet cleaner.
Story
I have taken this car to the beach several times. There is plenty of trunk spaces to load it up with a cooler, chairs, boogie board, and other essentials. I love rolling down the windows as I get close.
Pros
Great gas mileage Extremely dependable Great trunk space All of the standard features (cruise control; AC; power windows, doors, and locks; CD/Radio/Aux input) without too many computer parts for things to go wrong
Cons
Though I think this car is a great ride, extremely long road trips (8+ hours) can become uncomfortable

Nothing made the dealership great, I picked out the car online from cars.com and had to make a purchasing decision on very short notice. I was very unhappy with the car and it had many hidden mechanical problems. I hate this dealership with a passion.
