They were honest with me on the phone. They had exactly what I wanted and negotiated fairly. I didn't feel too pressured when I was negotiating with them. They offered some free upgrades for my vehicle. Their service department has excellent customer service.

This was a durable and very reliable car for most part. It didn't start having any serious issues until it got close to the 13 year/200,000 miles range of usage. The upkeep was kind and it took me where I needed to go. It also had good burst and maneuverability. I liked driving around with the sun roof open. It was overall a very dependable car.
Story
There was this time during the summer that I was helping my grandmother by taking this large amount of food she had cooked and dropping it off for different people. The smell of the good food lingered in my car for a about a week, so my friends wanted to take my car everywhere when we hung out because of that lingering good food smell.
Pros
The car got great gas mileage, it didn't take much to fill it up and it could go a long ways. Also, for a smaller sedan it had a lot of trunk space. I could carry around a lot things in the trunk of that car with no issues. The back seat also folded forward to give you even more room when carrying a big TV or something of that ilk. It also held up over long commutes. Also, as I said before the sun roof was a plus.
Cons
I am a tall person, so one con was the size of the car. It was tricky to configure the seat in a way that was comfortable for me to drive. Also had some issues with the automatic windows somewhat earlier than I would have expected. I was attractive to stereo thieves for some reason. The car was never stolen, but it was broken into for the radio at least 3-4 times over the life of the car.

I have owned my Subaru Outback since I bought it new in 2006. It is a very high quality vehicle. I haven't put a lot of miles on it (<50,000), but it has proven highly reliable over time. I give it the highest possible rating, and if I were to buy another car, it would be this one again. I feel that my children and I are safe when we drive in this car.
Story
Not really -- this car is mostly used for everyday commuting and running errands.
Pros
I love the fact that I can haul a decent amount of cargo, yet it doesn't feel like a truck. I like the leather trimmed interior. I like the sleek look of the black exterior. I generally like how it handles. The fulltime all-wheel-drive often comes in handy, especially when driving in snow. It can do many of the tasks of an SUV without being an SUV.
Cons
Because of the all-wheel-drive, this car doesn't get great mileage, so gas costs do add up. The black exterior does show a good bit of dust, and every scratch shows. Repairs can be expensive. I've already had to replace the clutch.

Overall, it's a very solid car. I love the way it handles, and the AWD makes light off-roading no problem at all. I have owned the car for about a year now and it has never given me any problems at all. Every time I bring it in for an oil change, the mechanics say it looks fine and doesn't need any work.
Story
I took this car up to a 6000' mountain peak with 6" of snow on the ground (it had not yet been plowed). By the time I got to the top, the only other vehicles up there were pickup trucks. Which is a testament to the amazing handling and the AWD system.
Pros
The car handles great, and is a perfect car for really extreme winters. It gets pretty decent gas mileage for a car of its size. I also really like the engine noise (boxer engines sound great, in my opinion), although some may find it annoying.
Cons
The only thing I can really say negatively about it is that the paint on this car is very thin. I notice more and more light scratches that add up, and I never seem to understand what is causing them. Also there are minor rattles that develop over time that some people may find annoying. The interior itself is kind of dated and uninspired, but I bought the car for the handling and performance.
