I was on the fence about buying a Subaru. I had an Explorer for many years, and it was so dependable that I was nervous to move to something else. Everyone was recommending the Subaru so I gave it a shot. I have never regretted it for a minute. I love it!! It has never given me any trouble and has been just as reliable as my Explorer. It is an all-wheel drive but takes me everywhere I need to go in the winter, even in the deepest snows we encounter(usually around 12"). I hope to have this one for along time but would definitely buy another one.
Story
After purchasing my car, I had to get my son to a practice during a bad winter storm. We reached the bottom of hill that we had to climb and both made a comment about holding our breath that we make it to the top. My son reminded me that I no longer had a four-wheel drive vehicle. I acknowledged that and begin the climb. When we reached the top, my son said "Wow, mom. This thing didn't eve... (more)
Pros
I love the dependability of this care. It travels great in adverse conditions whether it is snow, rain, or sleet. We experience all of those, and it has never let me down. The handling is great, tighter that my previous vehicle, which took a little getting used to but I love it. The interior is nice and comfortable and the extra features, like a backup camera and third-row seating, have proved invaluable. It is great.
Cons
If there is one con to this vehicle, it would be the inferior trim. The plastic pieces that surround the seats have came off so many times that it has become a bit frustrating. I have found that they cannot handle the rough and tumble lifestyle of boys.

I have a dusty blue 2009 Subaru Tribeca. it has been the best car I have ever owned. it has a powerful engine so when I need to pass on a two lane highway I can do this safely and quickly. the inside is all leather and very roomy definitely enough room for my husband and I and our four dogs. So far I have had no mechanical problems with my car.
Story
We live on the side of a mountain so our road is very rough. I use my car to go up and pick huckleberries in the mountains and it is the perfect car for that.
Pros
It is all leather and has the heated leather seats and mirror heaters.. I live in northern Montana so this has been a very nice addition to have that I have not had in other cars I have owned. the engine is powerful so I can town my motorcycle trailer with my Tribeca and it will not be hard on the engine.
Cons
My only complaint with my vehicle is the vents inside do not have a turn off. I can only shift them to aim a different direction. also my passenger window goes down very slowly so I am concerned that it will quick working soon.
