Last year I purchased a used Tesla S, the 2014 model. I currently have about 25,000 miles on the vehicle. This is an awesome car! Reliable, efficient, fast, and healthy for the environment. If you have the chance to purchase this vehicle I would highly recommend it.
Story
Taking the family on a long road trip to the beach, I got to enjoy the performance while the family was in comfort.
Pros
There are many positives about this vehicle. I just love the styling. Nice smooth lines and appeal to the eye. The paint is rich and deep and really pops when it is clean. As far as performance this thing is a beast! I have had many sports cars in the past and this ole electric sedan can hang with the best of them. Zero to sixty in "push your face" back time! So fun to drive. The environmental impact, or lack thereof, is also a big plus.
Cons
Service for the vehicle can be a bit pricey. Not anyone can work on this car. Although many mechanics probably can change the oil, I have run into two that were scared to do it for some reason. There is not a ton of long term data on the battery life so that is also a concern, is this beauty just going to up and die one day soon?

The Tesla Model S is the greatest vehicle ever built. No gas, no maintenance, unbelievable performance, luxurious interior, and bleeding edge technology.

I’ve had so many people ask me “what is that car”. My response is, it’s electric. They ask, who makes it. I say “Tesla”. They say yeah but who makes it. I drive away.
Pros
Electric drivetrain requires zero maintenance. Electric drivetrain offers instant torque and startling acceleration. The car is beautifully designed. Autopilot is a game changer - let your car drive you. The car requires zero gasoline. The interior is well outfitted, and the large control screen is intuitive and impressive. The trunk allows for cold storage of groceries. The trunk has massive storage space - more than my SUV. The sound system is super. The seat heater is powerful. The upfront cost is significant, but is more than made up for by fuel savings. The car is constantly improving - so new features can be missed.
