2016 Tesla Model S - The best car I will probably ever own.

I love this vehicle. It drives supremely smoothly and quietly, so much so that it catches riders by surprise when I drive them. The acceleration often catches them off guard as well. The interior is more luxurious than I have owned in past, but I'm usually more intent on the functionality of the car to notice much. The display in the center of the car is nice, but I wish that there were better solutions to some of the apps that run on it.
Story
Nearly every time that I use a supercharger on a road trip there are 2-3 others charging, and at least willing to share a story or two. It gives a sense of camaraderie to owning this vehicle.
Pros
The acceleration and electric motor are the top positive features of my vehicle. The sleek design impresses others and lets me stand out in a crowd. I also get free mileage for road trips, so that is a serious positive benefit. Even when I don't use the supercharger network, it costs me ~50% of the price of gas to go the same distance.
Cons
The applications that run on the tablet are proprietary and cannot be changed. I loathe TuneIn, the feature set on that application is severely lacking. The mapping application uses Google maps for navigation, which is nice, but it fails to allow me to plan trips the way that I want to (there and back again trips).

This vehicle was one of the first that I purchased for myself. I fell in love with Tesla's philosophy and wanted to do my part by driving an electric vehicle. The Tesla Model S is definitely not cheap, and you pay a hefty premium. However, I have driven the car for about 45,000 miles over two years, and mechanically, it has held up very well.
Story
This is one of the only cars where I've enjoyed just cruising and driving with sunroof open and windows down.
Pros
Maintenance is only sporadically needed. Fast 0-60 speed. Electric vehicle, no emissions. Love the styling of the car. Handles very well.
Cons
Very heavy. Prone to having flat tires. I have had to replace at least three tires due to flats. Electric vehicle charging takes a very long time in comparison to filling up at the gas station. For a full charge to about a 200-mile range, it would take anywhere from one hour to two hours at a Tesla Supercharger. At any other electric vehicle charger, it may take up to 6-8 hours. This is obviously not ideal for long road trips and such.
