Used Toyota Camry for Sale in Silver City, NM

I have a blue Toyota Camry from 2002. I paid $6,000 for it in May of 2014 and I have loved every second of owning it. It has been with me for three college move ins, a trip from New Mexico to South Dakota and back, and many new driver blunders. I have curb checked this car, scraped it against a pole, and it has hit 100,000 miles but it still runs well and has only had to go to the mechanic twice since I've bought it.

I purchased this car used. It now has over 160,000 miles on it and it still running well. Over the years I have had a few large maintenance bills (that is $1,000), but over the time that I have owned this car (now about nine years) this doesn't amount to much, compared to what new car payments would be. It is totally reliable and because it is an older car, the insurance payments are very reasonable. Also, because it is older, a few minor things no longer work - the antenna will not go up, the seat belt indicator does not function properly when it is very cold outside, some weather stripping is peeling off from around the windows, the front hood struts do not work, the paint job is peeling and there are a number of dings and dents in the body. Cosmetic appearance really means nothing to me. I am more concerned with the mechanical functionality and reliability. The only downside is the lack of safety features which are now becoming standard in new 2017/2018 cars, such as blind spot warning, rear view camera, etc. Safety features would be the only reason that I would consider trading in this car for a new one. Definitely another Toyota.
